I was thinking of making one as a waiting room on the 14th. (Ok technically I have made a server...but I'm trying to figure out how to use it properly)

I agree. I don't think it will be next year...that wouldn't be practical. They spent a lot on it. It has a lot of hype. I know they need a good return to make it worth while to do this again. Soon is the time to do this. I also know these things take time and the past year has been a nightmare to get anything done in. So, I have no problem waiting. I do hope for the 15th (as the 8th and 15th have been the strongest rumored dates...but there's so much bulls*t in the rumors who knows?). If not April...why has no one suggested May? Everyone leaps right to summer(unlikely) or never.
I personally think it's funny to see everyone saying competition because I keep thinking...can we not support more than one drama at the same time? I think we can!
Agreed, airing it later may cause more of an issue because I believe 40 some (I can't remember how many...I just remember seeing the number and thinking...I have a lot of reading to do) BL novels have had their rights purchased to be made. Some have started. If they're worried about sharing instead of leading then it's going to get worse.
*shrugs* I wait. Eager, but not going to get excited until I can figure out how to view it properly when it drops.

Hello everyone. Please stop for a moment and breath in and out with me five times. Look around and tell yourself five things that you see. If you can, turn off your social media for a few minutes. Go for a walk maybe (unless you're in quarantine or the weather is bad.). It’s alright. You got this. There was no confirmation today would be the day (and it’s not over yet). There were a lot of indicators it might be. But if it’s not - that’s fine. The ninth would be good because it’s Mo Ran’s birthday, but if it doesn’t come then that’s still alright. The 15th is a strong possibility still. No one officially has said it’s not coming. Nor that it won't air this month. To me the notice from our beloved orange cat seems to say it will still come in Spring.

I really do feel for the cast and crew right now. They must be getting yelled at and under extreme pressure. I send them the best thoughts.

If it’s not out today. I will enjoy a good nap. I should not have drank so much coffee.

Please take care of yourselves. This drama will come out (eventually) and it will be there (eventually) to watch repeatedly once it is for us to cry and angst over.

I'm going to bed. Which meals the trailer will probably show up, lol. I'm still hopeful! The masses are restless. It's actually amazing to see so many people online looking for this drama. The team must be drowning in anxiety about how everyone will react to it once it comes. I also feel bad for the actors. They can't go anywhere without having a camera shoved in their faces right now.

Just a warning. Although it should have a Happy Ending for the main characters like the book. This show will be VERY angsty.

Not yet. Though, it is apparently #31 on searches on Weibo right now. Every time I refresh twitter it's just a bunch of mourning, crying, clowning for it not being released yet. It's in the afternoon in China right now, so it could drop, but I don't expect to see it until their evening. So another 5 hours or so? But I really don't know. I'm just being hopeful. If not today. The 15th.

I'm trying to be patient. I am willing to pay VIP for Immortality. But I can't do both so I was waiting. For WoH I do love that the international youtube version gets a bit extra in the episodes sometimes.

It's also 5 am there. I don't expect the trailer to come out until later in the day for them (over night or early morning tomorrow for me on my time zone). If there's no trailer today/tomorrow. We wait until the 15th!

See, I think they could get away with not using him at all (though I will actually miss him, and it would lose certain elements). Depending on how they do the plot. it is supposed to start with Taxian-jun (according to the test audience). If they go to Mo Ran in a brothel, getting up and leaving without actually showing anyone, have him meet with Shi Mei, and have him go back to the Peak. I could see someone reporting that he was in a brothel and be whipped for being 'improper' or not paying his tab or something. There are also ways to get around Rong Jiu not being in the underworld as well. I also know they will have to cut things not just for censorship. But putting a nearly 4000 page novel into 50 eps is tough!

Seriously though. I'm wondering if they will have Rong Jiu at all? When I heard they were going to make this a drama all I could think of was 'well...about every other chapter of the novel is Mo Ran thinking of Chu Wanning and some form of intimacy...how are they going to do this?'

P.S. it is officially the 8th.

I expect this place (and social media and the fanfic sites) to explode when it finally does drop.

I'm still watching the official version, so it's only at ep 24 today. It is painful to wait. I did watch a version with no subtitles >.> but I really need the subtitles to know what is happening since there is so much good dialogue. I also want to watch on their official channels for support. With WoH I absolutely love all the discrete easter eggs and the lip reading of what is actually being spoken under dubbing. It's amazing. The cast and crew did an amazing job with WoH and you can tell they all had fun and wanted to be there. Sadly, this has increased my expectations with Immortality.

I think we all relate with you. Technically, 2 more hours until it is the 8th, lol. After that it can drop anytime. Though I want it to be the 8th, there is a good chance it won't drop until the 15th. I will be hovering around here annoyingly until it does. At least there is good company.

We won't know until it airs. Sadly. I too will need subs. We may have to wait a bit longer.

While we wait. Without giving any spoilers. Which are some side character(s) are you most looking forward to seeing and hoping are done justice?

Let's hope. *goes cross-eyed for a moment* most things drop around 7-9 am my time since there's about a 12 hour time difference (though sometimes they drop overnight)...so 41ish hours?

Alright, I have been lurking around here hopeful for months. Commiserating silently with you all. I finally made an account because I am anxious and I need someone to cling to if the 15th comes and there is nothing. I sincerely hope to see this drop on the 8th (probably not...but what if they drop it early to catch people off guard?)or 15th as has been speculated. As an international fan who will need english subtitles (but who will watch it anyway even if I have no idea what is being said) I hope it will be accessible asap. I am prepared to buy a WeTv VIP if I must for this. Even though I am painfully broke.

Someone should make a ‘Waiting for my husky and white cat to bring me a thousand knives’ discord channel so we can wait together closer to the days before it might air. *makes some tea and refreshes the screen for news*
