I am acfually not in the mood to watch this kind of drama but i watch this properly after a few episodes. I am the kind who fast forward a lot but i did it much less in this drama. So, that tells a lot of thing.
A bit hard to watch in the beginning but become better in the middle but feels draggy towards the end. Still, it is good. What i love about this drama is the ending. It is my favourite kind of ending. It is a bit cliche but i love this kind of ending the most for a romcom.
There are dragging parts but i dont care much about that as my main focus is the main couple. They are the most entertaining one. The other three kind of up and down. Also ML's younger brother is the most hardworking to pair the main couple together, lol. Not a bad one with fastforward.
I dont care if someone said bad thing about this drama because i love this a lot. Not because of the kissing scenes but because i cried bucket at the part where Grand Tutor leave forever and Tingzhou breaking Ming Wei's heart again and again after that. I have soft spot for dramas that can make me cry. I love the female lead a lot (her face is similar to an actress from my country which is also my favourite actress in the past... I mean i like her acting too).
I saw the review above and i actually want to see the scene of Tingzhou proposing in front of everyone. I also actually want to see the news spread when they are officially a couple. Not like because when Tingzhou is sick. I want to see these stuffs in the Celebrity Love story genre... I am disappointed at this. Also, i actually want to see them have children like the one from the dream...
Still, one thing i am super happy is that, this is not a past life story bs. Maybe it is but i skip that part? I am super happy that it is indeed Tingzhou's true feeling when he is Grand Tutor.
Because of my bias for this story take this 10/10 rating!!
Ps: not a fan of the second couple. I am a fan in the beginning but after the revelation, it feels super weird. Even if they are not related by parents, they are related by siblings.
This drama's characters can get nominated in many categories
The craziest ex-girlfriend - 2FL The most unethical doctor - ML's doctor The worst mom - 2FL's mom The worst younger brother - 2FL's brother The jealous cousin - Xiaoyu The abu*er mentor - Head to Head battle between ML and Boris The worst friend - ML's doctor The most idi*t - ML The most ego - ML
It is great in the begnning where i rarely skip any scene (i am one of those that watch with fas forward) but starting at the Bazhen(thailand) arc, it became so boring and draggy.
This is not the best drama obviously but if you learn the fast forward trick, you will enjoy this drama. I use this trick and enjoy it quite a lot. When the 'truth' was first reveal, Tang Xin was so devastated and i can feel her. Imagine when you thought he would not do that but ended up doing it... It was the most heartbreaking scene in this drama. The FL carried the scene strongly. Anyway, not a bad drama with the right trick watching it :)
Ah~ now i understand the hate for the writer. I look at her list of dramas and i understand it. I watch record of youth but i dont remember any of it. I even forgot i watch it lol. I have no impression of it. Temperature of Love too. Doctors is not good too.
It's rare for Korean dramas to have long episodes like Chinese dramas, especially this is Yoon Shi Yoon... Guaranteed…
You must be new to kdrama. 50-60 episodes kdramas are usually weekend one with family theme most of the time 120-150 episodes kdramas are usually daily dramas with overly makjang and frustrating theme most of the time. The usual 16 to 24 episodes kdramas are usually the Mon-Tue, Wed-Thu, and Fri-Sat dramas.
It was a good rom-com and it's binge worthy to an extent. However, no way in any shape this was a 8.9 rating drama.…
The rating here is more like "if i like it 10, If i dont like it 0. If it is meh 5" Most of the voters are like this. Not many out of the current 14k voters are seriously voting with the dramas' real quality in mind... me included.
I vote 10 because i love the drama but if i am to seriously thinking about my vote, this is a 7.8 to 8.0. Although the cliche done right, it is only at the beginning. The last 2 episodes are seriously lacking and cliche-done-wrong everywhere. If the wrong cliche is only a small part, i will give it more than 8 but too many wrong cliche in two episodes are too much. It is exhausting and tiring. The ending is unsatisfactory too because they put too much time on the cliche done wrong part.
This drama is obviously deserving another episode. Just one episode to make the current episode 12 not feel rushed. Episode 12 can surely be better represented in two episodes. It feels rush and needs a better closure.
Also, can writers stop with the 'a few years later' at the end of the series like literally 20 minutes before the end of the drama? That is annoying and cut down a lot of time for the characters wedding and stuff which is a better ending for a high chemistry-between-characters drama like this one. That is so unnecessary unless you give the drama another one or two episodes.
Look at the old-school My Girl, my favourite drama, the first drama that brought me to the dramaland. There was a few years later in that drama but they did it two episodes before the ending. With two episodes left, it made the drama not feeling rushed.
Anyway, not a bad drama. I just feels that episode 12 is too rushed. 8.5/10
I want to start this but the ending spoiler made me cancel my intention. Unless they add a special episode... I dont think i cam watch this. I am a fan of sad ending if it is implied from the beginning but from all the comments it looks like many people did not expect the ending...
I don't think it's that unpopular an opinion. Those of us who are seasoned watchers of K dramas have been saying…
But some wants more episodes because they want to see more of the couples on screen being lovey dovey... still they got the melo lol worst got makjang.
This is so weird lol. The ratings on this site will usually go down or stay at some point as time passed but i see it going up lol. When around episode 4, i saw the rating at 8.4, episode 6 at around 8.7(if i am not mistaken) now, 8.9!!! This is a rare moment.
You know, when the recent kdramas are all about racy/mature romance, crimes, politics, serious dramas, it is a breath of fresh air watching the old romcom tropes.
lowkey i think they are a married couple, im getting the vibes
I also thought they were secretly married lol but then they jabbed at each other about being old unmarried woman/man so i kind of thought maybe they werent.
