The thing with Goblin is that I felt that those really romantic scenes were a bit awkward, but they weren't outright bad. When Euntaek is older, her character is considerably more matured anyway, so the age gap wasn't really noticeable anymore. Spoilers ahead!
Toward the end though, I almost dropped the show, because I felt like they were making Kim Shin aka the Goblin suffer just for the heck of it. God was sort of an a*s. Why make some suffer for nearly 1000 years for? I think he paid for it well enough by watching his loved ones die over and over again.
On the other hand, all the scenes with Wang Yeo shedding tears made me want to do the same.
