Right, there seems to be a love triangle happening here. With that red string of destiny connecting Lee Dam and Sun Woo. Not liking this. I hope it doesnt’t end up like Jang Ki Yong’s previous drama Born Again. Dislked that one. I didn’t want him to end up with the FL then. I wanted Lee Soo Hyuk to be with the FL in that drama. I hope they don’t do to here what they did in Born Again.
Hmmm. Visually, this looks better. But I still prefer the 2019 version - stronger female lead, better acting and story flow. Watching it again in fact.
Right, sounds like “Promise of Chang’an”. Would like to watch it for the lead actors, but I don’t have the heart to watch such dramas. Where the lead characters will just gaze at each other with longing for the remaining episodes because one of them married someone else. :(
Episode 11 and it looks like ML realised he likes FL. That scene in the beach with her dressed like a mermaid! So cute! Episode 12 he’s doing things to get her attention, he even wore that silly-looking pyjamas she gave him!
So, I’m picking up Lee Min Ho’s new drama after dropping it. I heard the last few episodes got more exciting. I couldn’t feel the chemistry between the main couple in that drama back then. But look at Born Again. Great chemistry between Soo Hyuk and Sa Bin and then it all went down the drain, leaving me confused and disappointed. Not watching the last 2 subtitled episode. I’ve seen enough. No need to torture myself anymore. 10 stars for Lee Soo Hyuk, 5 stars for the drama.
So, after eagerly anticipating the return of Ha Eun, thinking that after remembering what happened in the past, finally she can have a happy ending with Hyung Bin. But Ha Eun it seems is just as messed up as Sa Bin. How disappointing. She’s still feeling more sorry for Ji Chul and still hugging him everywhere. Never mind about witnessing him stabbing her lover, killing the woman in the salon and traumatising her father. KBS insists that she has to love and choose him because he wants to give his heart to her in both lives. Whilst Hyung Bin/Soo Hyuk will still be miserable and won’t be with the woman he loves. If KBS wanted it’s viewers to believe the Ji Chul and Sa Bin romance, they’ve done a poor job. I can not support that kind of love. It’s sick.
So, after letting Jong Bum kiss her passionately with open lips and all, Sa Bin said although Soo Hyuk was wrong (in shooting Jong Bum) someday she will go back to him. Indicating that she still has feelings for Soo Hyuk. In the meantime she’ll spend time with Jong Bum, let him kiss her like that, watch movies with him, sleep in his room, let him hold her hands, put his arm around her, and occasionally hug him in public. Things that a couple in a relationship would normally do. Meanwhile, when Soo Hyuk was so worried for her after Gong In Woo tried to kill her and Soo Hyuk rushed to her in the bookstore and hugged her so tenderly, she stood there like a statue. Why say she’ll go back to him when she acts like this? She’s indeed one messed up character.
She finally opened her mouth for someone at least xDWe were all so optimistic that it was an experimental kiss…
And that scene looks like a hint who Sa Bin is going to end up with, with Jong Bum. Soo Hyuk/Hyung Bin might die and get reunited with Ha Eun’s soul after all. I don’t know amymore.
Fark! We get a hug between Sa Bin and Soo Hyuk, he hugged her and she looked cold as ice. And then a scene were Jong Bum was kissing her, like passionately with moving lips and all. Wtf happened to this story? Nice way to lose viewers KBS! Stick your drama where the sun doesn’t shine! It doesn’t make sense at all!
Episode 12, that scene at Ha Eun’s grave, where Hyung Bin was kneeling, distraught with grief and crying. Just heartbreaking. Then clueless Sa Bin arrived and ruined it. She might have Ha Eun’s face but Hyung Bin knows it’s not the woman he loves in front of him. I don’t think he feels that strong connection with her. And I’m glad. Because of the way how the story is going now with Sa Bin more drawn to Jong Bum/Ji Chul (which still doesn’t make sense). I cringed when she was with him in the car and she said he looked dashing the first time they met in that book store. She knows he stalked her, stole her diary, installed an app on her phone to track her, tried to kill his younger brother and Soo Hyuk and she’s fine with that. So accepting of him that she’d flirt with him and hug him in public. Any woman in her right mind wouldn’t be ok with this. But it looks like they have an undeniable connection that the writer is trying to feed us. I hope they make a good explanation of this and justify it. And I want to see her reaction when she finds out that it was Ji Chul who terrorised her father so bad that it drove him crazy.
