Also ZJ is the kind of person who goes through life without expectations. I think , she more than CDM, has lost hopes of finding love and her disability has played a role in that and our ML has his own issues with relationships- he does not want to give his all either given what happened in the past. These two need to trust each other and themselves and open up more to move forward

But at the same time I feel like the FL is not very confident about being in long term relationships because of her disability. She may have been burnt a few times - so she relies on her career and that is in Shanghai, a big city with opportunities, rather than at her small hometown. She is scared and he still has not given her that security

The leads have great chemistry

Lost interest and stopped watching . FL and the mom overwhelmed the entire drama towards the end. It got too preachy and nothing really improved or changed. The ML was completely sidelined. His acting is good but he did not have much to do in the later episodes. Again this is the the farthest I have gone with a Yang Zi drama but still could not complete it. This has been the case with all dramas of Yang Zi’s dramas- DROPPED!

Exactly! Meet yourself could have been better but it became that travel and tourism documentary. And lost sight of its story in the middle. This one has a more focused story and is much more deeper than Meet yourself. The characters are way more interesting especially the main leads

I really got turned off by this show- the ML is very abusive- I got through probably 2 episodes but could not take it the whole premise is bad. Don’t know what ‘love’ it is that they are glorifying

I don’t know - I think he is a good enough actor to take on a variety of roles . I loved him in Ancient Love Poetry as well
