Ep34 revealed the truth of marriage that was planned ahead . Another disappointment was why the truth of HongYi not being the son of previous emperor and no royal blood not told to ML/JunQi sooner! He would then had a better hand and won't feel bad to overthrow the emperor. Such an important secret! As a result what a big mess follows! Not a well written script! Rate 7.5

@1moreepisode --unless you enjoy watching costume drama to worth the time, you can put it "plan to watch" at the bottom of your list. The "ending" as commented from most viewers are true and makes no sense. Would suggest you watch the korean drama "its okay not to be okay" - very touching story of love and care for ML's autistic brother, who communicates well through his amazing drawings. Hot romance as well as a beautiful story!

can't wait to see ZLY & YiBo as most recent wuxia dramas had been quite disappointing, read about the unpopular supporting actress ZhongJieQiong who was in Miss Truth. Drama itself was entertaining and interesting.

just finished eps15 on utube subbed. Can't get over ML & FL .., adorable and sweet. while waiting for subs, ML on Romance of Tiger & Rose is hilarious funny & enjoyable -- first impression ML thinking of all different ways to kill the FL ...lol

totally agreed & disappointed as well. been skipping many scenes & fast fwd just for the sake of completing it. Let's hope these coming wuxia dramas will be better .. & a better time for everyone!

as much as i enjoyed all the great wuxia drama stories, this is the most disappointing and confusing one. Thanks to all for the recent comments which determined my decision to drop it at eps37. Wished talented LeoLu could have picked up a better script in future like NIF. stay safe! stay strong! stay healthy! we can create our own drama to beat this CoVid-19 !
maybe Jackie Chan as producer/director of new drama Sleuth of Ming Dynasty can compensate to all whats been going on with his humor fun exciting craziness directing.

so true - thanks for clearing my doubts as I did wondered if LJMing died & why did he said in eps 1 at the bottom of sea said " you all will repay this blood ...." and then on eps 8 (39:51 onwards) where the bad king recalled conversation with LJMing about the 9th realm .. and LJMing said he will share this secret of 'eternal life' with them... , also not to mention the cocoon process ... & DingN being extraordinary 'person'

Rib bone lotus soup is a wholesome delicious yummy dish served commonly in chinese families. Love it & can't wait to make some this weekend. Healthy and nutritious if you add some red dates & ginger with it. Not difficult to make just dump everything in it & let it cook for about 2-3 hours low medium heat. Serve with soy sauce with sesame oil & dash of siracha chili in it for dipping. Yummy!
