Ashes of Love kind of drama
I first got attracted to watch this because of the ML (the male lead of Goodbye My Princess). I read two very bad review from this site, so it made me feel a bit apprehensive at first. But oh boy, I love it so much I binge watched the first 18 episodes in 3 days!My favourite part is actually on ep 2 when our main couple had to cross the love bridge and found out they are soulmates (despite not liking each other at that point).
I love the bond the twin girls have. I was expecting one of them to be evil, but both are good people. So heartwarming to watch the girls protect each other, putting their sister above their love interest. The older sister reminds me of Cameron Diaz, they look like twins born at two different continents LOL.
This show is has a similar background as Ten Miles of Peach Blossom (Eternal Love) and Ashes of Love. Lo and behold, when I checked, apparently it has the same writer as Ashes of Love. So if you like those kind of movie, you'll love this. The best part is that it's only 40 episodes in total!!! The nasty remarks I read in the review here are because they forget this is a lighthearted fantasy drama. Not everything have to make sense! At least this is not a drama where the leads would get stabbed and coughing blood every episodes - THAT I can't stand. But Starry Love is not like that, so it's all good.
I'm halfway through now, hope they can keep the pace. I'm still heart broken that Immoral Samsara started strong then turned rubbish in the middle, then worsen to be ridiculous until the end..
#### UPDATE #### I never ended up finishing this. Can't remember, maybe life got in the way.

Enjoyable
I'm watching this drama and "The Witches Game" ("TWG") together. I like both but at this moment I prefer "The Love in Your Eyes" ("TLIYE"), it's what I want to check out first when I wake up in the mornings.Maybe because TWG has too many DNA result switching and the antagonist are way too evil 🙈 she has no redeeming factor at all?
The antagonists in TLIYE are also evil but at least they're still human!
Anyway, ML is very nice. He rarely gets angry and he trusts FL with all his might. So that's nice to watch (I'm over misunderstanding).
It's a 120 episodes drama so there bound to be lots of side characters storyline too. In my case, I don't care for them and I fast forwarded most of the side characters storyline. So following the main leads story everyday for about 10-15 minutes is pretty nice, not too time taxing and keeps me curious! The flow moves appropriate (with progress on each episode) for a 120 episode drama.

I really liked this drama in the beginning. Actually the first 70-80% was good. It's a family drama, so it's slow pacing which is fine, I enjoyed it a lot.But once the ML and FL got together, that's when it goes flatline. The story's focus turned to FL's mum and brother. Since her mom was an unbelievably such a pain in the arse character, I find it really hard to waste my time watching her character development arch. My other problem was when ML's Dad passed away, ML was depicted as dead sad. But only few minutes after the funeral, he bounced back to not just being his normal self, but as a happy man with a spring on his steps.
Overall it was an enjoyable watch, great acting from the leads.

Pulp Fiction Feel
I went in here to watch Wi Ha Joon (I just finished Little Women). I'm not a fan of Lee Dong Wook, so I was planning to just fast forward most and just watch scenes with WHJ in it.I find some scenes are too violent and I did fast forward those. But I had problem fast forwarding everything else. I am just floored with Lee Dong Wook and the rest of the cast's performance. The plot and turn of events are so cleverly written. You won't find any draggy moments here.
I'm sad this drama doesn't get as much viewers as what it deserves. I can understand though that it's too violent for some people. But they are filled with effortlessly funny scenes too. The action scenes are awesome and the way this drama is shoot reminds me of Pulp Fiction.
One of my favourite is actually the sessions with the psychiatrist. We can see the doctor-patient relationship growing in intensity.

2nd ML abused
I started this drama without knowing the original version. At first I wasn't sure which one is the ML, or which one is the 2nd ML. Then by episode 7 or 8, when Woori dumped him, then it's obvious which one is the 2nd ML.What's upsetting is that in the first half of this drama, a lot of time was invested on that 2nd ML. You gotta fall in love with that guy, he's just the best guy ever. So much that when when Woori dumped him, I became very angry at her and decided to drop this.
I know no one is perfect, and maybe they're not meant to be with other. That's fine. But I'm not a sadist, I don't enjoy to watch the 2nd ML so brokenhearted from episode 7/8 to episode 14 (final)!!
Spoiler, Woori had doubt about the 2nd ML since the beginning of the drama, but then as the show goes on, she was shown to really fall in love with him. Then blamed him for a lie (which is mean because we can see that she lied to him too few times) so it's double standard on her behalf. The real cause she swayed is because of the ML who is rich and handsome (2nd ML is only a cop). Anyhow, whatever, I said people are not perfect. Yep, Sung Hoon is gorgeous and he's a nice guy too. I would love to root for him. But I'm so angry at the writer/director for spending so much time on 2nd ML just so we can see his demise!
Nope, no more of watching this! I feel so betrayed 😡

Terrible!
It's not very often I come across a long TV series which is so bad that I feel like I need to write how bad it is!It started off fine. But my goodness, the FL is so hopelessly stupid, I can't take it anymore, I just had to drop it at around ep 50. I just took a peek of the latest episode (ep 73) to see how are they going. It felt like I never left 😅. She's still dumb, so are everyone else there.
I don't know how many DNA result swap they did in this series. It's just so ridiculous. Everything about this drama is just ridiculous. Sorry but not sorry for this review!

Mental Health Alert
It's a story about a pair of identical twins who traded places, when one of them got suicidal. When you think things finally settled, there would be a new major revelation thrown in.
I didn't expect this to be such a tear jerker. So have a box of tissue ready.
I enjoyed When Life Give You Tangerine, but I enjoy this more. Maybe because WLGYT focuses only one IU's character, while in here there are three (the twins and Ho-Su).
Yeah sure not everything makes sense (like how can Mi Ji who's portrayed as not too bright, can work in strategic planning), but I supposed it's possible when you work really hard. Mi Rae was bullied at work so she doesn't have much to do at work, so Mi Ji was supposed to just sit there and do nothing, until Mi Rae gets back on track with her mental health.
Park Bo Young and Jin Young are amazing. Bravo, you two!

So Funny and Convincing FL as a Male
I have never came across a female lead acting as a man, which actually looks like a man. So much that at first I wasn't sure she was a man or a woman (I came across the video in YouTube so I didn't know the storyline at all). This video is great if you are having a bad day and need a laugh. As this is largely a comedy, expect this to be silly and accept loop holes accordingly. It still hurts when the moments call for sad moments.
