I'm so glad I watched this drama. That 'didi' at the end broke me.
TS was an amazing villain, until they realized that TS was the villain I had NO idea. I loved him from his very first scene!
He had hidden his tracks very well, actually, there's almost no proof to prove that he's the villain. Only the testimony of the old man that worked with the agency, cause he said that the real TS had a broken arm. But if that man got killed, there'd be no one to say that TS was from Haiya. And there were no evidence pointing at him, speculations aren't evidence.
But he was human!!!! He loved his friends, he loved his brother. He didn't really love Haiya, he only went through this path cause he hated his adopted family and so he could have a purpose in life. But he loved their constable family. He didn't do anything to them, he actually protected them all the time.
I don't sympathize with him, but I think he's such a well made villain (the author that made him).
I felt sorry for him at the end, tho. I'm softhearted. But I'm thankful that, at least for a while, he felt warmth. From his brother, from his friends. I truly despise people that adopt children and treat them worse than a pebble, his 'father' just got the child and made him suffer for years. That Miao Jie too, how could he say he was doing that for Haiya? That's pure self satisfaction!

He Luo Luo did a "perfect" job as TS/BK. I'm impressed.

Finally a poison that had a purpose. I thought it'd be the old cliché of a ML being poisoned and being miraculously cured, but here it did have a purpose and it made sense! It connected many things, even the death of FQZ's master and Old Bug makes sense

This is one of the best child actings's I've ever seen. I'm only on ep 3, but the story and the acting is so rich. I'm mesmerized by their acting

• There're loads of action scenes, not the best tho
• Romance is on the cuter side, with some family drama
• Good acting yes, but they're dubbed
• Hot ML 👍
• Their chemistry is superb
• The story is like a spiderweb, too many details. If you like politics, you'll like this
• Her costumes were not the best at times, but they were beautiful. His costumes were all pretty. The rest of the cast's costumes were pretty too.
• Low budget with poor CGI, very funny to watch
• She's strong, she can fight. But has her limits. She acts cute sometimes to get what she wants, but she's hot headed, she prefers to fight
• Not really a melodrama, it has a lot of comedy
• Happy ending

55 eps with them together, dating, after 35. But somehow I liked it, was very cute seeing them fall in love.
I didn't like the noble idiocy, although in LY's case he needed it. She could've been involved.
Their love was truly beautiful, she had eyes for no one but him. The love triangle tag is very misleading, cause the leads only had eyes for each other. It's easier to say that SGX, YY and XX had a love triangle.
The budget was so low, cgi was laughable. Even the locations were extremely limited. The emperor's hall was so tiny, lol. They spent all their money on cast and costume. Even the double used for the kisses were obvious

But was definitely worth it. Very cute.
Although it had 55 eps, the leads had a 5 minutes happy ending. We just know he was reinstated and that's it. He will probably marry her under the name 'Yuan Jinxia', cause the emperor definitely can't know she's a Xia. I find it horrible that we had 55 eps and they didn't get married, when that's the thing they most talked about. We didn't see YY and SGX's marriage either. For a 55 ep drama, some things were very lacking. Too much fillers, while the good things, or necessary things, weren't done. I knew that there would be a lot of fillers, 55 eps are no joke for only one season. But I expected them to cover the necessary parts.

The team meeting on the street with ZXM, FQZ and HDR getting into formation was beautiful. It just missed Tong Shuang, unfortunately
