I hope we all get to enjoy the series together :D Also if you want to read the novel after watching the series there are English translations on several pages. The author did not participate in the tv series so there will be many things that are different I imagine. I however can often find things I enjoy in both formats even with changes.

No they got to know each other quite young so it will just be one season with them as adults. However the pictures have shown us that we get to see them both as children, together with some of the other princes and princesses. Those scenes will probably just be a few.
In the novel it's almost no romance until the end of the book and its mostly teasing before that. Now with the new cp video released today we can see that the romance will be experienced much earlier in the tv series.

So Bai Feng Xi and Hei Feng Xi are both great martial artists and they are both princess/prince of different kingdoms. They wander the land for different reasons and there is a lot of unrest between all the different kingdoms. Hei Feng Xi is a very ambitious man and wants to rule the world, so he is a very scheming person. Bai Feng Xi however just want to be happy and help other people. She is also the person who knows Hei Feng Xi the best, as they have been companions for 10 years. So this drama will have plenty of war, politics but also some more lighthearted moments.

It is my understanding that there are a few reasons for overdubbing. 1 is that it's cheaper not to have those fancy equipment on set, also its loud in china so you get a lot of extra sound. 2 The government prefers the standard dialect basically so that it is easy to understand what the actors are saying. There are so many different dialects in China and also they at times have actors who don't speak mandarin well so they also get dubbed. 3 I also believe it has to do with the actors schedule. Some actors dub themselves in the studio later on, but I imagine that is only possible when they do not have any other work going on.

It took me awhile as well when I started watching cdrama before I knew that most of the actors are dubbed. In kings avatar I thought the voice actor really did not suit Yang Yang, but it was the same guy who voiced the animated series for King's avatar along with the rest of that cast so that made sense then. Some voice actors fits so well though that I was surprised it was dubbed.

They have been overdubbed. The lady who does Lusi's voice sounds quite similar to her though so I believe it will work alright.

I believe this is fake news sadly since they only got a license for 40 episodes.

Yes it would be great if he is someone on Xi'ers side so we can see them together again. I will be glad to see him anyhow since I imagine this will be really different from the last role.

Who are you thinking he might be playing? Looking forward to seeing him in another role! He was a great duo with Lusi.
