I think he started filming Cicadas Girls around August 15th and if filming isn't push back yet again this one should start filming late October isn't it? So that would be about 2months of filming for his modern drama. In comparison Only for Love the upcoming modern drama with Bai Lu and Wang Heidi took 4months to film for supposedly 36episodes. Maybe Cicadas Girls will be shorter? I really have no idea 😅
Now there's only 1month left before we'll get the final answer 🙌

I read that they are in fact more upset about 🍉 accounts spreading new rumors about potential ML even though the production asked to stop doing so just last week and to wait for the official announcement.
I'd be more than happy to see ZLS x LYN together again but as always 🍉 have to be taken with lots of 🧂

I might be wrong but I think modern dramas take less time filming, so he might be done with Cicadas Girls by the time the production start filming and do both back to back like Chen Zheyuan did with Dark Night and Dawn and The White Olive Tree 🤷‍♀️

I'm saying this as someone who doesn't enjoy xianxia most of the time. So from where I stand they are BOTH doing fine and I wish them the best in their career.

There really isn't much of it as it comes almost at the very end of the drama but yes, they openly declare their affection for each other, hug and hold hands...

Yeaaah... 😓 at least he might be boycotted by the industry but isn't officially banned by the NRTA. So there's a bit of hope that oneday he could make a come back. But anyway this drama was already shelved waaaaaay before 8.13 happened thanks to Yu Zheng & his love for using stories that do not belong to him 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ so yeah my hope for this drama are almost all gone by now.

It was a very rough year but I'm trying to look on the bright side of life and even if it's not much Cdramas really helped to look forward to something. I did the same with them, also wishing them to be as strong as tigers in their next lives.

I was also watching The Legend of Anle, because I like th 2 gentle giants that are LYN and Gong Jun, and always check out their dramas, but then a character was introduced and I decided to wait for it to end before I pick it up again to avoid being too frustrated. I dropped it at ep 15.

I was also watching The Princess and the werewolf which was very funny and lighthearted but same as TLoA I will pick it up when it ends which should be very soon. I dropped it at ep 7.

Meanwhile I started Rising Lady that I wholeheartedly recommend if you are enjoying Be Your own Light for the relationship between the FLs and the way they face obstacles in their working place with also a side of romance. I'm at ep 19 and really enjoying it.

I'm sorry for your loss. I've lost 2 close ones this year and yesterday episode brought it all back. It was hard to watch but also beautiful and cathartic, especially the part about meeting again in their next lives.

Well... she just lost her mother. I don't think funerals are the most appropriate time for romance. And she is actively trying to get a divorce.
Hopefully she will soon be free of OK and free to start anew with JJH, especially with everyone and their goldfish pushing her to go for JJH eventhough she is still married. Which really came as a suprise to me, at least for a cdrama, because you know censorship.
Which might very well be another reason why it's simply impossible for HH to get together with JJH before she gets her divorce paper. I doubt the ever watchful eyes of the censorship would condone a cheater as FL, even though her husband is a greedy and conniving troll.
I'm pretty sure that had she started a relationship with JJH rightaway, the drama would have to be a BE for it to pass. And even more so if my suspicions are confirmed and her husband never cheated on her in the 1st place.

I wonder if the 'mistress' will make a surprise come back or never be heard of ever again ? She would be a good way to kickstart the investigation for HH but I feel like OK will soon make a come back into her life.

I really felt that her marriage is the only reason why she is resisting JJH with the way she was walking around thinking about him watching the street artists or how she wanted to send him a message but in the end decided to hold back. It's just a matter of time (& timing).

For me the whole affair thing was staged and most likely by his boss and the so called old friend that always turns to HH to fish intel about OK's whereabout. After all the girl disappeared for a 2nd time just after he spotted her with HH at the hospital. And what we were led to thought about the girl's character seems to be the complete opposite of what her mother said about her. She most likely accepted the hush money only to try to save her dying father.
Also if he really was the heartless cheater they made him out to be I don't think he would take the risk to come to his mother in law's funeral when there's so many people looking for him.
