As a LYN fan I have 0 pblm with this poster, in fact I think it's waaaaay better than what we had before which was a very uninspired rework of some TLB promo poster. Would I like LYN to be on the poster? Sure. But I'd rather have a beautiful poster that showcase perfectly the spirit of the drama than something bland like what we had with FL and both MLS. Also it's supposed to be FL centric, just like The Tale of Rose which had a very beautiful poster featuring only LYF surrounded by yellow roses. So I don't think having a poster with only ZLS should come as such a big surprise for anyone. There's gonna be other poster in the future and I'm sure the MLs are gonna be included in some of them, but meanwhile I'm more than fine with this one which is imo the best poster we've had so far.
Well this article completely ignores the statement released by SZE's studio and presents the worst rumors circulating as facts. It's been 48h now, nothing happened to SZE 's studio weibo account, the tax bureau didn' t come out to say they were lying. On the other hand the whistleblower account is now banned. Call me optimistic if you want but based on that I tend to believe SZE's studio statement over this article. It would be more believable if they had linked some credible source, instead of saying that the whole article is based on some insiders say-so 🤷♀️ or at the very least presented both sides.

Also my understanding is that while xianxia is one of the most popular genre within international Cdramas fans, it is not the case for the chinese market, which is of course the most important. So for it to still be in the top 10 when we are now more than halfway through 2024 is certainly quite impressive. But like you I hope/expect more from and also for TSoPG. I also don't think we'll have to wait as far as late spring or summer 2025 to watch it, but who knows... C-ent schedule can sometimes be a real mystery 🙄 We can only hope for the best 🙏✨

Whether the data are split between 2023-2024 or not won't affect the quality of the drama or it's success and recognition in the long run, so I'm not too worried about that. Data are good but they are not the most important thing about a drama. I know I must sound like a spoilsport to some when I say this, but I'd rather see it coming out later this year because the team took it's time to work on it properly and do their magic in post production, rather than see it coming too soon because they've rushed it and maybe botchered it in the process. Usually an historical drama takes 1y to come out so I don't understand what's the rush here when they haven't even wrapped filming 5months ago. Having a long awaited drama like this one coming during exam season is of course not the best for students viewers and I will feel sorry for them if this turns out to be the case, but other than this I don't think it would affect the drama. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't watched and followed everything related to TLI but it did not seem to me like TLI was affected much by this, I thought it was still at the top of the ranking lists like datawin and such while airing and even after. I've tried to watch it because of ZLS but xianxia really isn't my thing so I just left quietly when I realized it was saddly another fail for me and the xianxia genre 😓 I would love to see her and WAY reunite in a modern or even Republican drama tho 🤗

Sorry maybe I should have been clearer, I wasn't talking about storywise and the dynamics between the 3 characters as there's very little we know so far about them, especially since the drama won't be following the novel, except that TXT's character will definitely not see ZLS in the same light as FYL in TLB.
