I see you are very critic with bl in general, I liked a lot of series and honestly Sotus is my all time favourite serie, I have a soft spot for it. But I must say this is the first time since Sotus that I have the feeling of seeing something really big, could be the acting, the production value or many other things but I was expecting something like this from GMMTV since the end of Sotus and I was honestly starting to lost hope (I do like or love others gmmtv series, like hes coming to me but that is a little gem, nothing that could have became a fenomenal huge hit like sotus was) so I am so incredibly hyped to see if this will remain as good as it is right now and I cannot wait to see the fandom going crazy about it, I know this will happen for sure xD

I never tought I would say this but this show will probably be in my top 3 favourite BL of 2020.. I know we have so many other series coming but honestly I'm not so convinced in most of them, for the production value, the cast or other things. What I do love in why r u is how the charachters are so different and how we have 2 couples that are so clearly from different novel but that makes the show a lot more entertaining Tutor and Fighter are yes the kind of fighting couple but I love how they are dealing with Fighter's denial, the actor is soo good, you can see he is torn between the passion he feel inside and the fear of the fact that the answer to the question:"do you like guys" is yes... So every act he do is full of contraddictions and he pass from being passionate and tender to harsh and mean. Normally I would have hate a charachter so frustrating but the fact that both of them are so believable makes me just love them a lot and curious to know how the story will go.
Then we have Saifah and Zon... can we please give them a most-adorable-couple-ever award to them? At the beginning of the story I was very confused in how they would have portrayed their relationship but I would have never expected something like this. I tought of another kind of fighting couple and instead we are seeing them progressing know each other and like each other and they are also start to joje about the novel thing and omg how adorable they are??? I need more couples like them, too often we see couple that love each others instantly but isnt it so much better when there is a progression, when the charachters actually talk and hang together before the real feeling begin? I am so glad this serie is turn out to be so good and I hope will continue to positive surprise me until the end

I I don't think you should expect realism in a BL, even more if it is a comedy one, real life is boring xD I like how crazy and over the top the charachters sound, it makes the story a lot more entertaining

I agree on everything you said. Lbc was not perfect but there was actual care and passion in it. This look like a school project done in half a day with no real interest... it is incredible for me that there are people that like this disaster

I agree on the recast too. No one of the couple have not even a tiny bit of chemistry but that could actually be also a fault of the script and the fact that the charachter are so monodimensiomal.
