I would not waste your time if I was you, you can see this serie and still understand.. Lovesick was the first thai bl and you can see it, it is a mess: bad acting, terrible pacing and directing, way too many charachters, soo many crazy girls terrible humor and soo many straight couple too. There is something good here and there like a couple of side bl couple in second season but they don't go anywhere so for me do not waste your time, Thailand thank God now is doing really good stuff

I don't think he is gay but he keeps on saying that acting with girls make him unconfortable.. I guess he is just really shy or something like that, In his first role he acted with a senior from his university that he already know that plus is a really calm guy, plus he was not famous at the time so he didn't had the whole pression that he has right now and his acting was really good. But after 3 and more years from that serie and a lot of cringe/ankward acting from him I think this world is not for him.

My favourite bl are sotus and hes coming to me and even if I love series with intimate scenes too is the overall quality of a serie that interest me. If the story is good, if the script is good. If the actors are good and have good chemistry and zero ankwardnesss.
I do believe there was a good idea somewhere in this project, and I do believe people that are saying that the book is good but this serie is terribly done and do wrong everything that I mentioned before (the actors are mostly good but the ankwardness is there and the script is not helping them). It is not that I dont get the beauty, its that that beauty is poorly delivered

Don't be sorry, there are plenty better bl series out there, if you like this the most good for you xD

This is a mistery for me too. This is not the worst drama ever but God if it is boring as hell full of filler and with a terrible writing and pacing.. like as you said it is like we are seeing the same episode in a eternal loop... and yeah, the ost must be the worst ever in a serie, it is terrible!

Plus thai bl are more often comedy than drama.... I don't know what people expect from thai bl... it is also a cultural thing I believe, as korean drama are the opposite and more into dramatic serie.

I see many people complaining about this show... Like I don't know if you all remember but we started with series like lovesick, mir, my bromance where the pacing was a mess, the charachters too many, the acting terrible, the comedy embarassing, the ankwardness everywhere...
I honestly like this show a lot, the charachters are good, the acting is good, no ankwardness, good humor and I honestly love the parody in it about bl, I think it is very clever, funny and not offensive at all.
It is true that the charachters are a lot and we are maybe not having as much saifah and zon as Tutor Fighter but I honestly think that was a decision made because SaintZee had already a big fandom so make them the real main makes sense and still I think the amount of time of each couple is ok, and we are not even in the middle of the serie.
About the fact that the 2 main stories feels strange and soo different is because they are, they are 2 separate book put into one and I honestly prefer something like this than like uwma that instead of adding the winteam story choosed to just create a serie full of filler.
So I think that overall this serie is perfect for what it is, a fun and simple story that does not want to be anything more, not every serie needs to be super deep or dramatic.

We are so spoiled right now by bl productions that come out with engsub immediatly that I had forgot that gmmtv like to tease us and make us wait for days... once it was worst, until 2019 the episodes and subs come out a month later and somethimes more so I know I should not complain but this serie seems soo good I need to see!!! ;_;

Actually Tharn is another really complex and interesting charachter. He is confident but fragile, sweet and caring but also aggressive, the top but the most submissive one in the couple, that is something quite unique in bl. Plus he is incredibly childish at times. I can't say so many things to describe charachters in bl usually xD
I am not talking of why are you btw that have some really interesting charachters, fighter and tutor especially

But I agree that the point of this show is to be light and funny (exactly as tharntype intended to be toxic and complex) and I honestly I love it. I think the script and direction are perfect for this kind of serie. MAME is badically the queen of bl in thailand, it is normal that her serie has abig success but I do thibk thisone will be successful too... if only there were not so many stealers of official subs...

Everything was soo good in tharntype, especially the charachters and the progression of the storyline, you dont see charachter so well written in bl often... every fandom has his toxic side btw

That scene was not romantic at all. The music was tense, the moment was wrong, it was a war with tharn answering with a bad things to what type done bad to him. There is not one scene where assault is romantic and feel right in the whole serie.
