You are not offending me at all, I am always ready to confront and to critics, we are all different, for sure we cant all think the same. But have this people watched the serie or just the critics after episode one? Have those people understand what is really about this serie and the relationship between tharn and type? People calling this a toxic fandom when they are just too lazy to see what the story is about.
Tharn Type is for sure not for everyone, for sure represent some really toxic behaviour and for sure the charachter are not easy likeable. But to tell that the charachter are offensive or that the fans of the serie are crazy fangirls that want non consensual toxic relationship is incredibly superficial ..
Sorry about the long post, it just amaze me how many people have still so many issues with this serie when what the serie wants to portray and tell is so clear to me

And if you are talking about not adressing the bad things the charachters did for me in the serie it was really clear ... I dont read the book nor any others book of MAME but in tharntype every bad behaviour is not romanticize but treated as it is.

Yes, in many BL the couple are just ankward and unconfortable.. sadly so many actors just want to became famous fast and BL is the best way so even if that makes them unconfortable they try to be casted in bl

I don't care if people hate on the serie I like, to each is own, and I am quite sure many people are a lot salty that their favourite series did not have even half of the attention and success tharntype had.. I do not think TharnType is perfect as I said, and I don't think the acting nor the direction is perfect but it is overall a lot better than most of the bl I've seen, so I would love if other production takes notice and put a lot more care in what they do. In UWMA i see a total lacking of care, I don't see passion, Love by change was full of passion, in this I don't see not even a bit of that. Especially about chemistry, the love scenes of Tharn and Type are really good done and with no ankwardness at all, and ankwardness is something really common in thai bl... in UWMA too, I expected a lot more and I do not mean that I wanted steamy scenes or anything cause this is not that kind of story but the kiss are incredibly ankward and also the way of using the camera during the kisses is weird..

I actually think they are cute together. Well, that they could have been. I blame the direction and script a lot more for the lacking of "feelings" and chemistry. At the beginning I kind of believed in their love... now I don't anymore. Tharn and Type's chemistry is on another level, it's almost unfair to compare xD

Plus I dont think there is nothing wrong with straight writer that do not write about realistic representation of lgbt world. Because that is how bl works, a fantasy world for women, they are not writing unrealistic stories cause they are not capable of being realistic , is just the genre that is like thisn. About me being critic it seems to me that I am always, or try to be really clear about what I think is bad and why. . Type is gay. He clearly is and never sayd he is not, the fact he only want type does not mean he is the same gay for you trope most bl have. He was gay even before being assaulted but because of what happened he had even more problems in accepting himself. There is no rape in tharntype, not even once, there are a lot of bad behaviour and both the charachters are many times incredibly unlikable but they grew up in the serie and understand tgeir errors , type especially. Theystill remain people with many flaws but that is good writing, i am so tired of the cute uke and the aggressive masculine seme. In here we have an aggressive and bad temper uke and a charming but fragile seme... if this is cliché... plus all the history were clearly bl and filled with all the bl thropes, even if I like most of them they have no much in common with a realistic gay representation. Same for what did you eat yesterday that isgreat but still clearly a yaoi with a seme an uke and plus not even a little skinship that for sure is the type of writing of the author (it is a shonen ai, not a yaoi) but It is hard to thibk of it as realistic, except the part about how the parents and country could see a,gay relationship but was more a overall comment, the couole was still more yaoi for me.

Plus , if I van add one thing. You cannot expect a BL that is written by straight women and destined to straight woman the most to really represent lgbt world. Because they dont.like no one. It is how bl works.
