I was into anime when I was a kid until some years ago and watched a lot of japanese drama and movie when I did not know there where other asian country that did drama. I try with korean chinese and taiwanese and still not my cup of tea but in 2016 I found Thailand with Sotus the serie and it is love since that time. Korean Thailand and Often chinese and Taiwanese actors are really handsome to me, japanese never are, some are quite charming maybe but beautiful never to me. Plus when a japanese guy is said as beautiful it has a baby face and that is definetly not what I define attractive

I argue with more than one person about the fact that since BL has gay charachters in it they are still part of the lgbt kind of series... which clearly is not, BL are the straight fantasy of a gay world, it is rare to find realism and they dont even want to be realistic, that is how the genre is and I prefer it exactly for that, lgbt love stories tends to be too sad and angsty for my taste, I prefer the BL fantasy world where happy ending is always there. I am not a fan of japanese drama, I dont like the acting most of the time, I found the charachters almost always too over the top and I think most of the time does not work or its just silly. That kind of acting I know is part of their tradition but it is just too much for me. Then most of their BL, from takumi serie long ago to phornograph nowadays lack in acting script and many things, I think that most of japanese bl are really poorly done and really mediocre at best. There are some exception, a couple for me, I loved the movie Ossan love (and hated the serie) and I think what did you eat yesterday was great even if not my cup of tea. I want to add a really superficial reason to this, visuals are really important to me, I want to see cute or attractive men and boys if I am watching a love story and japanese actors are almost never attractive for me.. xD

Exactly what I am feeling. It was since the end of Sotus that I was waiting for GMMTV to take another good novel and treat it right and finally it seems it is. I like and love some of others GMMTV bl, especially hes coming to me but that was quite different, THIS is what I was waiting for !

I am honestly blown away by this serie. There was and are a lot of series I LOVED in the last months, TharnType, Why r U, I found love at 7-11, and last year was overall so great in terms of BL but I can honestly say this one is THE BEST since the times in which Sotus first season aired 3 years ago and more.. I don't even know how to express my feelings for this serie, I just know that everything is SO GOOD, the script, the comedy, the charachters, the pacing, EVERYTHING IS GOLD. I do believe this that this serie will set new standars for BL if it will keep on being so incredibly good.
