SM has told others multiple times and Tin multiple times that he feels loved by Tin, but today he was like... "erm, I don’t know"...like no, you can't do that... especially to Tin, who is literally trying to learn, and is new to all of this.

I admit that Tin doesn't display anyyyy PDA whatsoever (Public/Private) but he felt good with SM, and never had any doubts.

What SM did in my opinion was wrong, because, again, he didn't give him a proper explanation. He gave one to Darren, two... to be precise (I think)... but not to Tin, his supposed serious relationship man?!?!

SM didn't know Tin was good with kids, Ping had to tell him, and SM was surprised.

I understand you POV... the only reason why I said it was ok, was for her not to have any regrets. She has her own life... from her POV she can get closure by telling Tin how she feels. I know it's out of line, because she knows and is friends with both... but also.. she can do whatever the fuck she wants at the end of the day. So meh 🤷‍♂️

Ok, so contrary to some of the previous comments, the trip wasn't a dream.

So 4 things happened here:
1. Tin met the family.
2. Francesca told Louis that she isn't feeling good about the divorce & Louis started dating Francesca while getting KK's blessing
2. TzeChin "confessed" to Tin after telling SM that she'd do it
3. SM broke up with Tin

1. I felt like during the trip they were doing fine. Tin met his family and SM told them about the seriousness of the situation. And Tin falling for the oldest trick in the book... scrubbing your BF's dad's back 🤣
- something important: SM tells Tin that others might view their relationship as dim, and that he doesn't mind that because for as long as they feel comfortable, everything is ok, and their feelings for each other are what matter the most
- now regarding this, if SM really feels like this.. then WHY THE FUCK is he always sad? SM came out to his family, told Darren and KK to back the fuck up, doesn't have a problem with his sexuality... now why not be open about his feelings with Tin... who is literally the only person he should really be considerate off?!?!? That's BULLSHIT.

2. On the contrary Francesca does open up about her feelings to Louis, which makes him certain of his feelings for her. KK is amazing for being so supportive of their relationship. I mean, what else can he do, right?

3. TZ, good job for letting SM know that you want to confess to Tin, and explaining the situation. Again SM, did what others wanted and disregarded his own emotions. That's not healthy. He told Darren how he felt about the whole ordeal with his family, so why can't he express himself now? Is it to not hurt Tin? Well, look at the end result bitch 😒

4. People break up, it's understandable, but don't give someone a bullshit excuse, especially after acting as if everything is fine, or going in the right direction... not cool... I believe that if you really love the person you should be honest with them... Tin was very open about his opinion about PDA, SM not so much... come to think of it, I only remember his sad face... come on man, you're both mature enough to know better... Tin is good with kids too, like really good, he wants kids. He'd be a good father. This is all new for him, so give him the time, don't 180 on him.

Chiiillleeee, Noh Shin Woo can really be a bitch sometimes, when he's jealous... Is this a red flag?!?!?!

So we open with Noh Shin Woo avoiding Tae Kyung because he's jealous of Daon. Tae Kyung tries to ask him, yo what's good? but we get an indifferent, aloof, cold Shin Woo. Daon suggests TaeKyung that he tries to do small talk and be eventually try to be friends with him again.

Speaking of Daon, he is confronted by Sohee for standing her up. That bitch doesn't want to give up already, which is both admiring and sad to look at. Daon apologizes and tells her that he'll make it up to her. Shi Woon, who was there too (I don’t know why? looks like they all share one life there 🤣) tells her everything that he knows about Tae Kyung and Daon's relationship to reassure her. In classic Sohee style, she tries to play it cool, but we can see through you bitch. Don't act as if your pussy doesn't want Daon... stop it. JK

Back to the council room, TaeKyung tries to make small talk with NohShin, speaking in a loud robotic voice, even more than his one. Cringyyyy bitch, CRINGY 😮‍💨😬All of this while Daon and ShiWoon are watching. Daon helps TaeKyung with his homework, but to NS they're being too loud (they weren't to be honest). He calls them out, Daon apologizes but TK is clearly upset at NS's tone. Daon gets a call from HaetBit asking him to send 2 students to organize the library books... Y'all know where this is going...

TaeKyung and NohShin are organizing the books when TK confronts NS about the awkward situation of tension and unpleasure, which not to my surprise he avoids. NohShin, the fuck are you doing? Just talk to the guy already, stop being this closed kid... What happened? Were you in a relationship that failed and now you don't want to get hurt? Is it about pride? What?

Later on, at lunch we see tensions rise. While the four of them are eating Daon offers to tutor TK. NS suddenly stands up and tries to walk away. Daon stops him and asks him to wait to they can all go out together. NS doesn't listen, Daon insists and NS's food ends up on Daon. Daon apologizes once again (we see a pattern of Daon apologizing a lot, this is so mentally draining, I feel bad). TK asks NS if he's going to apologize too (all serious, like he's ANGRYYYY).
NS leaves to get some napkins when TK comes behind him and tells him that even if they don't clearly like each other, they should start doing so. TK grabs NS by the shoulder, and I thought ... KISS MOTHERFUCKERS KISSSSSS, but no!!! so chill

Honestly, I loved it... this to me is some clear HS stuff, where people barely share their emotions with others, depending on their personality. I recently got in contact with an HS friend of mine and we apologized to each other for all the pain caused back then because of a lack of communication. SO, I FEEL FOR THESE CHARACTERS.

aaannnnddd, the fact that Tin isn't there to take care of him... How could he have known that Siu Muk would get sick. What was he supposed to do? Fly back to Hong Kong from Taipei?
- I mean realistically, when this happens, a couple just checks in on one another... which is what they did (BOTH of them)
I think that dream sequence in the end, was just to show us how much SM misses Tin and he wants him there. I think that's a fair and very normal feeling to have, not just in their situation, but even if they would have been together for 30,40,50 years.
SM thinks about Tin and wants to be with him (like he told Darren "I like him, and I feel good when I'm with him").
And this is still the beginning of their relationship. There's like a million red flags BUT, if they both put in the work, it will get better.

Boy, O boy ... what an episode.

What I didn't like:
- Did Tin ever tell Siu Muk about the business trip to Taiwan with KK? I think it was an offscreen thing, but I wish to have seen that conversation play out.
- Tin not telling KK that he should stop pursuing him, unlike Siu Muk that actually told Darren loud and clear.
- Siu Muk: "There's a difference between telling them and them finding out." Erm SM, you wanted Tin to be open about it... well this is as open as it gets...announcing it...so STFU and enjoy your boyfriend taking this huge leap for you and your relationship. Thank you, next.
- Still not enough Siu Muk X Tin - I want more.

Now that we got that out of the way, I really did enjoy this episode:

We see KK try to pursue Tin again, with the help of Francesca, which by the way, kudos to her for again being such an ally after this whole drama happened to her, which must have been so emotionally and psychologically draining. Not only is she helping him, but she's also keeping herself updated on the situation.
But poor Louis, he was trying to have a drink with her, but there is KK, talking to her about Tin. First Tze Chin, and now Francesca with KK. Like he can't seem to catch a break from women who are somehow involved with Tin. But that God he "confesses" to her... sorta... I guess, or flirts...Anyway, I really wanna see them together.

While there's drama outside of work, even at work we see drama.
Tin's Sister comes to check for some houses, not to find Tin, but Siu Muk, who offers to help. They talk about Tin, his future and relationship, what his parents want from him (spoiler: what most hetero cis people want for their children ), and for Siu Muk to possibly introduce him to a girl. Siu Muk clearly looks upset but she doesn't seem to notice.
If this wasn't enough, he gets sick, takes the day off to rest, and to feel better. Now, this is soon interrupted by Darren, how still wants to get back together with him. He asks Siu Muk, if he's really happy with Tin, if he'll ever be happy, and if Tin is even happy to be with him.
After talking to Tin on the phone, he tells Darren that they can never be together and to stop pursuing him. - Siu Muk got balls bitch. I fucking loved this moment. Siu Muk is a bold bitch... This moment y'all... my jaw dropped to the floor, left town. Good for you Siu Muk.

Siu Muk and Tin go to Tai O for a few days, where Siu Muk grew up. (this clearly makes KK sad but he doesn't get in their way). On their way there, Siu Muk kisses Tin on the lips, which throws Tin off, he looks around to see if people saw him.
- Now, a lot of people would be like... ugh nooo, just be proud, and yadi yadi yada. Well, chill, because we all know that it's not easy. I believe that Tin has true feelings for Siu Muk: when they were calling each other Tin asked so many questions to make sure Siu Muk was ok when he was sick. They seemed to have a lot of fun in Tai O.

But however, we didn't do hazing in HS nor College. We just developed friendships by observing people, testing the waters and understanding how people thought and acted. It was more of a "dump your kid in the water and see if they can swim" kinda situation. Which I personally loved, because we weren't forced to do anything against our will, by the seniors. On the contrary, the seniors because they had exams and whatnot, they barely talked to us. We of course made our own individual friendships with them, but it wasn't on a deeeeeep level, just barely deep or more then shallow.

Edward Chen, from YNEH, he's fucking handsome.. I really do have to watch his work though, because I like his acting.. So Red Ballon it is then.

Regarding Love, Victor.. I would watch Love, Simon; Love, Victor 1 & 2 because it really tells a story.. it's an interesting one and I've seen the things that the characters do, in real life. God, I'm experiencing some of them right now. And it's not just about Gays, but about straight, lesbians, childhood trauma, parenting, social issues, etc etc etc...

I understand that his relationship with Tharn was new at the time, but still. It should have been addressed and handled better.

Look, I understand uughwhat's comment (SOMEWHERE IN THIS PAGE) that this is a big step for Hong Kong, and we shouldn't be harsh on it, but still.
I'm not going to deny the fact that the production is fire, however... we are indeed missing the relationship part of it all... where is it? Is this show trying to show us the people who aren't comfortable with being in an LGBT relationship? ok, but they're a couple.. they should act like one, at least in their own home... KK went above and beyond and showed Tin a lot of affection and didn't give a shit of what others thought... like Darren, who was basically begging to be with SM.

And, yeah that outfit was horrendous... in Michelle Visage's words: Now this look tonight y'allll. Absolutely no, no. That face, beautiful; that lip, gorgeous; that outfit, burn it.

I feel you, I really do.
- SOTUS: I've read somewhere in the comments that this is/was a real thing in Thailand. And it's common for them. It's basically hazing, which is also a thing in US Unis/Colleges ( fraternities and sisterhoods ). But that show really put too much focus on that like (3/4 of the series was about hazing). Personally I'm not a fan of it. The whole: you have to do whatever I say, cause I'M YOUR SENIOR....FUCK THAT... That can be discussed in bed, if you're kinky like that... but in school... bitch...ain't nobody gonna tell me what to do. It was just a big fat NO for me. I haven't watched Season 2 to be honest... maybe I should just to know if they fixed anything.. but meh...
- just like BenxJim (I really hated their toxic relationship in season 1) and for season 2, I just watched whatever was free (just some parts of the episodes), because I really thought it was a waste of time (and to be honest SPOILER: in season 2 he's with another guy, and I literally was rooting for the other guy to be with Ben 🤣...I was like fuck you JIM... you don't deserve him)

The Effect:
I loved the open ending because it leaves room to sooooooo much discussion, like a never-ending one to be honest ... just like this one 🤣 But I agree with you and the parents... they should have done better... take the money and sue the other family... 🤣 There isn't any contract for the money.. nothing legal.. so just take it.. pay for Shin's mental health and physical health treatment and get just hope for the best
I feel you on the whole feeling bad for Teng, because we come to love these characters and we want them to be together (sometimes)... and I've been in a similar position to Shin's and I wanted to do what you suggested: "to at least kneel down and put his hand on Teng's head...maybe even say nothing, just take that action." But that's beside the point.
But the final scene was sooo fucking heartbreakingly real because it shows that trauma sticks with you, and for some people, it may never go away. FUUUUCCKKK!!!!! 😭🤬

Regarding IPYTM, I LOVED the realness in the series, to be honest. Yes, there were some flaws but the overall concept and execution were amazing. I would have been ok with both endings, to be honest (Your Name Engraved Herein vibes), but seeing them together really melted my heart 😭🥰. Again I've been in Oh-Aew's position... and all I can say is that it's a difficult one.
