Why doesn't she just post in one long post? Why cut it up?
It has been politicized from the beginning - the original petition back last spring was promoted heavily on forums where the current president's supporters hang out.
But the present day politics is not necessarily something we should touch.

The controversy never stopped because it was never about the truth, so the actual drama content doesn't matter, they will keep pushing their agenda. After all, admitting they were wrong would be embarrassing, so they prefer to double down.

This entire scandal has little to do with the actual victims of the 1980s and a LOT to do with present day politics... but not sure it is a good idea to open that particular can of worms.

I suppose because spam is more effective like that, one long post would be easier to ignore.

Also, it is not a single essay of her own thoughts, it is a bunch of individual comments, all copied from the discussion thread on the other site (and likely not written by her, as she had no qualms copying the original article either)

When will be Air in India they released in Disney but in India they hold
It was officially announced that Disney will release Snowdrop in Latin America in February, after the drama finishes airing in Korea. I suppose it will be the same in other areas where it is not yet available?

Everyone, if you can see the copy-pasted comments below, please report it.
Her first comment today is word by word copy of an allkpop article. The rest is cherry picked from the article's comments.
And this is not her first time spamming this comment section like that.
(this is the original source: https://www.allkpop.com/article/2022/01/over-30-professors-and-scholars-of-korean-studies-gather-to-submit-a-petition-to-disney-plus-regarding-historical-concerns-over-the-drama-snowdrop - add it to your report to help the mods)

Not liking Snowdrop is fine. Arguing that it distorts history is also fine. Spamming the comments with stolen content is not.

Regardless of personal opinions and desires for this drama, we must put respect on these people's names. EVERYONE…
If you copy-paste content from allkpop (I suspect without their permission), you should at least give credit to your source.
Stealing content is NOT a pretty look, when you pretend to be the righteous side.

That was just stupid speculation, most likely started by a childish stan who wouldn't want their idol's lips be touched by a man. (never mind that Jisoo is a fully grown woman, not a 12 year old child)

Also, the covid thing is the most stupid excuse ever - this virus is not transmitted by bodily fluids but airborne, so just leaning close is perfect to catch it, no need for saliva exchange.

I think Ms Pi wanted to let the whole thing slide, because she didn't want to harm the girls or the man they were hiding (she hates the ANSP, who tortured her). But after Bunok made a mess, she had no choice but to act. The least damage she could do without losing her credibility was kicking out Youngro (who came from an influential family, so wouldn't be hurt as much as some of her roommates).
About the old man, I'm not sure. Maybe there is some backstory between the two of them...

Gyeokchan can be a rash fool and a lovesick fool at the same time. See also Nam Taeil, who would let dozens of innocent students die for his political gain, but is also a ridiculous idiot...

Disney+ might be shit at managing the content, but they paid enough money to offset most of the production costs.
They are the only reason the drama survived the controversy.
Because of their investment, Snowdrop doesn't depend on advertisers as usual kdramas. So the "harass the sponsors and advertisers until they leave" tactic didn't work to cancel the drama.

So please don't curse them too much...

They wrote it very carefully, trying to sound so impartial and all, but the message is the same: "I don't approve of this content, so nobody should be able to watch"... they just can't say it directly, because freedom of expression is such a basic American value.

Anyway, good luck convincing the Mouse. They couldn't even get it cancelled on the Korean division, and heaven knows they tried hard...

BoonOk was nice with Youngro before, i think she just needs attention and now that Joo is nice to her she likes…
Her kindness to Youngro was always transactional. The moment her "friend" did something she felt offensive, she turned into a bitter enemy. She was ready to rat out Youngro (and her roommates) to the ANSP, for cash and petty revenge. Even though she, like everyone else, must know they will torture even innocents as they please.

To make it worse, she is someone whose life is ruined because her sister was (or was framed as) a communist. So it's not just rumors but personal experience about what the ANSP can do, and how allegations of helping an enemy agent can destroy one's future.
She was still ready to sell out the girls.

No cutesy loveline can make me forget that behavior.

Here is jtbc's character description for Suho: https://tv.jtbc.joins.com/cast/PR10011401/1

His real father was deemed enemy of the system, and in a communist country that's not something easily reversible. So the high ranking politician is most likely an adoptive father only.
But we haven't seen this backstory on screen yet.

Code 1 is the current president. They never show his face, say his name, and avoid even mentioning his rank as much as possible, probably to prevent lawsuits.

No, I'm pretty sure that she slowly worked her way to become the mistress of a powerful SK politician (and learn state secrets from him).

As for her getting inside the dorm - we don't really know what instructions she received from the North. Maybe it was to manipulate her doofus lover into saving them, from the outside. Maybe it was to get inside and help the guys from there.

She seems 100% devoted to the Party, so I doubt she just lied that she was instructed to save them. But then, there might be more twists down the road...

This is the drama that was charged with history manipulation, except the claims were misunderstandings to blatant…
The problem is, most English language content about the controversy showed a very one-sided view, based on the claims of one twitter thread (which picked some sentences from the synopsis/character descriptions, took them out of context, and used them to "prove" their own narrative, nevermind the actual content of the drama).

Anyway, the protesters filed a court injunction, claiming that the drama distorts history. The Korean court refused it.

That doesn't stop the haters, they continue to spread their lies.
