I think that when her son was born, he might’ve shown his power at some point so the villagers thought that he was evil. They went after him and killed him, and she was not able to save him and some crappy demon/spirit Hunter went after her too. She was burned alive but they saw her alive so they BURIED HER…

same theory I wrote below. i think this may be the case!

They were truly in love with each other in the first life time but because they are Yin & Yang, he is against them having a child because how would the balance work? I think he robbed his child of their life to save her and she resents him. But maybe he was led wrong by a villian and believed that the only way to save her in their first life was to do that. Can someone screenshot my thoughts for a later. debate?
