Sooooo the cliff scene was an act by everyone? The six knew that Matthew will try to kill them but the chains will be cut (because Kang Ki Tak told Geum La Hui, and she told them). At the same time, Matthew knew that the chains will be cut and will be betray by Kang Ki Tak (because Geum La Hui told him)... Nah, it's too funny. The only one who doesn't understand nothing is poor Min Do Kyuk.
If I'm sure about something, it's that the cast is having so much fun with this.

I recommend to put a spoiler tag on your post for the people who hasn't watched the last episode yet.I don't think…
Oh, yes. I'm with you on that one. I also commented that I was dissapointed with his screentime. But now with this plot twist makes sense. Too much screentime could have ruined the surprise because Matthew would have started to look suspicious sooner. Like how Min Do Hyuk's screentime ruined the "surprise" of him being a spy.
And this writer has had main leads that dissappear for some episodes, so it's not new in her dramas.

Okay, so here's my theory:Matthew Lee is not Lee Hwi So. Lee Hwi So is jailed somewhere. There are 2 people Matthew…
I recommend to put a spoiler tag on your post for the people who hasn't watched the last episode yet.
I don't think Matthew is Sungchan group's real heir. It would be too funny considering the age difference in the characters. We still don't know how K knew about Min Do Hyuk, but it would be pretty embarassing if he was torturing a random guy who doesn't have anything to do with him. There is still the possibility of Matthew being someone new that we don't know about (but with 12 episodes out it will be weird).
And people are confused about this: Good Guy =/= Main Lead. Min Do Hyuk, right now, is the only good guy (Kang Ki Tak is somewhere in the middle and we don't know what Matthew wants), but he is not the protagonist. There are plots that revolved around a bad person (they are not frequent because it's difficult to pull out), so it doesn't matter if Matthew is the good guy or not.
Anyways, I'm surprised by the way each week there are less and less good characters.

The ML plays a better baddie anyway Next ep preview: omg is the blond hair finally gone HAHA 😩
I think that the hair will be like that till the end of season (hopefully sooner). I have seen some photos from the set, and looks like next season he take off the wig.

Q: Who is the Director?Theory 1:How can the Director (fictional) know so much unless she was Bang Da Mi?Theory…
In the episode where we saw the flashback of Ji Ah and her sister, it's the same actress. I think they wouldn't have show us the information about her sister if she weren't going to be an important character. For what we have seen, Michelle hates Mo Ne (after all, she blackmailed and used her sister) and know about the meaning of "Dear D".
And I don't think Bang Chil Sung knew about Matthew. In the preview of the next episode, Matthew appears to be smiling in the same scene where the chairman died. Matthew may be his son, but I don't think Matthew has any love or sympathy for him.
Yes, I think that Kang Ki Tak having such important (and incriminating) proof in his car would be too stupid xD

Q: Who is the Director?Theory 1:How can the Director (fictional) know so much unless she was Bang Da Mi?Theory…
There are a few questions that I can answer for what we have seen:
- The Director is Song Ji Ah's sister.
- The person in the prison was the real Lee Hwi So.

And I think that Kang Ki Tak wasn't impersonating K. The shoes he had in the car were probably Matthew's because he was investigating him or Matthew put it there after knowing that Min Do Hyuk has that proof.
We will probably know about Matthew the next episode but I won't be surprised if he is the real father of Bang Da Mi and is trying to get what it's his by fooling Kang Ki Tak (that's why he was going along with the revenge).

In the last few episodes I started to wonder why Um Ki Joon would accept to be the ML of a series where he has such a few screen time (and most of that time just talking and doing nothing by stay there) but now I have to say... that was an AMAZING move. They really used the fame he has of being incapable of lying to make him act even while promoting the show. King behaviour.
I was regretting how until now we didn't have any character who wasn't predictable or could be close to another iconic one and voilá! Of couse he was going to be an ace up the sleeve.

I'm genuinely curious about why some people think that K is not the big villain after everything he has done until now... He orchestrated everything to frame an innocent man for serious crimes (Hwi Soo was sentenced to death), he killed an innocent cop that wanted to undercover the truth (and laughed as a psycho, man), he is now targeting and provoking Hwi Soo after killing the only person he had to rely on. What else does K need to do to see him as a villain? Even the teacher has done less than him and I don't see anyone doubting if she is bad... It's funny, idk.

In comparison with Penthouse, EOT7 has become very predictable. In Penthouse, you wouldn't be able to guess who…
Yeah, this start have been guided so far. Until now they have been showing everything beforehand (the theory about the identity of Matthew was clear because of the imagen SBS released, there is no way they didn’t know what they were doing). I like to think they are trying to make everything "easy" and then start with the real plot twist.

I also wondered the same because the way others died were just cruel and their sins were just supporting Scarlet…
They weren't just supporters, it was said that they were core members of Scarlet Letter. They knew that they were spreading fake news about a teenager and her family, they ruined their lives without any remorse. I'm indifferent about the way they died, as they killed a person a few hours before and decided to get rid of the corpse.

Did you really walkthrough #5 or did you skip some parts? It's shown very clearly who Matthew Lee is and what…
The guy at the end is Matthew Lee. In fact, that moment was the only time he appeared in the very first trailer of the show (the one revealed at the SBS Drama Awards). And why does he look like that? I don't know. Probably to mess with them as two "different persons".

do you even know what genre this show is? this is makjang 💀 it’s not the writer’s fault that you didn’t…
My bad. It was with the intention of "doesn't matter if the other person does bad, there is no need for you to do it too", in general, but it sounded wrong, sorry.

I don't think any of that is real though. The aurora felt like a projection, and the unicorn too. And Mathew was…
That's exactly what I was thinking all the episode. Those people were high on drugs (and dumb as hell) againts a man with advance technology. It was impossible to slow down the tempo of the climax just to explain everything...

That's not the way to say it at all. You were right until you disrespect the other person.

I think what makes this drama very inferior to penthouse even though they're similar in being overly dramatic…
I have to disagree on that, but I see what you mean. We only have 4 episodes out, there is no way to compare the two at this point (at least, not yet). In the first four episodes of Penthouse we didn't know nothing about most of the characters besides the fact that they were greedy and just wanted to protect their children and their image. And in this case is the same (but we have seen a glimpse about the reality of Han Mo Ne, that's a start) and is just the build up for what is to come. And I think the most important fact: in Penthouse we knew who were the big bads in the group, while here there is the mystery of who is pulling the strings.
As I said, I understand what you mean, but we are just starting so I can't be expecting that much from the start with such a large cast (and the ML hasn't appeared yet!).

Well, here is my theory (mostly based in what we have seen already and a little bit of assumption based in all the promotional content of the drama):

- K/masked guy is the big bad. I have my doubts before, but I'm sure now. He even set up a trap to Da Mi's adoptive father in case the lack of evidence regarding Da Mi's case wasn't enough. He really wants to use Da Mi and her family as the scapegoat about his baby (and identity).
Also in the rerun of the two first episodes in SBS, they used another opening intro in which he appears right in front of Matthew Lee, so he is definitely the final villain. Since the start of the promotion of the show, Matthew Lee has been called the "punisher" and the one taking revenge, and with all the reference to chess they have been pulling, I think that the big fight is Matthew vs. K and the rest of characters are just the pieces/puppets/whatever.

- The seven are: Geum La Hui, Min Do Hyuk, Han Mo Ne, Yang Jin Mo, Cha Joo Ran, Go Myung Ji and Nam Chul Woo. And this has been confirmed even before the drama started. You can also check out the relationship chart that is in the official website of the drama. This is mostly for the people that isn't sure.

- While I was almost sure that Matthew Lee was going to be the bio dad of Da Mi, I'm totally in with the theory that is the adoptive dad after plastic surgery. I believed that he was the bio dad thinking that he has the scar because he did have the same illness as Da Mi. And I even thought that he changed his mind about abandoning his daughter after that accident that "killed him". But now I don't think so.
So I'm now in favor of him being the adoptive father. There is going to be a timeskip (there has to be: Geum La Hui will adopt Han Mo Ne, Min Do Hyuk has to be in a good mood to be partying like that) so what we are going to see is that the grandfather gave his money to Da Mi's adoptive parents and Lee Hwi Soo is going to escape from prison, use that money to get plastic surgery and in the meantime of the timeskip he's going to invest that money in his intellect (remember that the abandoned his job project to pay the treatment of Da Mi, he can easily establish a successful company) so with enough money he can prepare the island, and can't be that defenseless again (that reminds me of someone from Penthouse...).

- Min Do Hyuk is one of the seven, but he and Kang Ki Tak are going to switch sides. I don't need to point this out, but Min Do Kyuk will know the truth about his family and Kang Ki Tak clearly wants K out (to take down Yang Jin Mo), so I see them with Matthew Lee sooner or later.

Sorry for the book hahaha

Utterly disappointed for CWY, he has rarely played any positive role, seeing him in a negative role over and over…
Well, I have high expectations for his character here. He is one of my favorites actors and I love seeing him playing a villain because he does it sooo well. The problem is when the rest of the drama is pretty bad or his script is lacking. Yet I am positive about this drama.
Btw, he will play the king in the upcoming black comedy The Queen's Umbrella with Kim Hye Soo, so maybe that one will be not that bad.

Title Eve
Makjangs are mostly well received in Korea so no surprise and honestly these type of dramas shouldn't be the ones…
Well, this conversation is going to nowhere because we have a different view, so that's it haha But thanks for sharing your opinion with respect.
