Isn't that the point? The front man is trying to teach the main character a lesson: he's not the hero, he can't help others, people are greedy, and will turn on you eventually.

I don't get it. If you want to watch it, watch it. If you like it, continue watching. If you hate it, drop it. Who cares what the critics or the audience say. Why should their opinion influence your viewing experience?

I will never understand why people hate an actor because he plays a baddie. It takes a lot of skills to play one.

I think the final game could be the VIPs and everyone involved playing the games as a sort of revenge.

Oh, I see. Well, I agree that in terms of games, there was more action and suspense in the first season. However, I wouldn't say there were no games in this season. It's just that the games have become psychological, and manipulative. The voting system, the main character being played by the frontman, the tension between the two groups replaced the children games from the first season. I see why some people wouldn't like it. It was rather slow and it dragged on.

She's so pretty. The actor is a hottie, too. I just think it was brave of him to play a woman. He'll probably get a lot of hate for it.

I also don't see the mother-son pairing surviving, at least not both of them. Either the mom will sacrifice herself or the son will end up dying somehow.
The pregnant girl will definitely have a baby in the show and the old lady will help her.
I'd love to see Hyun Ju take down the baddies.
Minsu will do something courageous. I think he'll save someone.
Shaman dying a gruesome death when her curses backfire.

Luckily, some other actors carried this season. Some of the other characters really stood out.

I haven't watched his other projects so I can't talk about his acting abilities, but I think he did a good job in s1. With s2, imo, it's just the character issue that doesn't let him do much.
