Don’t make unnecessarily claims that it can be manipulated. The easiest way to assess if it is doing great in China is until now it doesn’t hit the 10k index even in its on own platform. Second, it has the smallest total view among the 3 drama, I talking about in China. These production and artists care more about their achievements in their own country rathen than international. Why, because main audience and investors came from their own country.

If anything, it is doing great internationally. Anyway, the most basic gauge if it is doing well without comparison with any of the current airing drama; if MM hit the 10k index in their own Iqiyi platform.

Douyin and Douban and weibo supertopics they are topping but data ranking charts such as datawin, Yunhe, and the other viable charts in China, they are not at number 1. Just now Yunhe, which is the most important system because it says how many views and if a drama is a national explosive hit drama #FlourishedPeony topped Yunhe Data w/ 20.3% market share!😍👏🔥🫶
it's hard and rare for a Mango TV drama to place 1st @ Yunhe knowing MGTV is the lowest streaming platform when it comes to views. Don’t be naive, widen your knowledge because you can see daily chart as well as weekly charts ranking all over social Media platforms like Fb, twitter, weibo etc.

That is why some of the peeps here are so rattled that they over exaggerated this drama’s achievement. That is not telling the blatant truth. When I questioned the accuracy of moonchaser (a commentator here), she pulls out the hater card. It is underperforming based on reliable data charts in China and the initial hype and great expectation of it. It has unexpectedly low in YUNHE view for a drama that is in an Iqiyi platform, which is a bigger platform. Second, yes it is topping SOME CHARTS but not MOST OR MAJORITY of the charts just what moonchaser has bragged. It is no.1 in Vlinkage Online, Maoyan Online (a drama that is currently topping in China is not considered as an Online drama, it is a tv drama) douban, douyin, weibo supertopic. But as far as some othe relevant charts like Yunhe, Maoyan, Datawin, Lighthouse, etc, it’s not. Globally or internationally it is doing well but in China alone, it is not. Until now, MM has not reached the 10k heat index and it’s has been more than a week.
