Please, these have have all been debunked (with actual factual evidence in some cases) by her agency! And let's be honest, these allegations only came out after c-netz had already started ganging up on her. NOTHING will convince me that this hate campaign is rooted in rationality. This is an actual witch hunt!
And even IF she did roll her eyes, play on her phone, etc. does it warrant this cyberbullying? If she was so unprofessional, no one would want to work with her anyway. Come on, it's not like she was already established enough that she can afford to act like a spoiled brat!

They then formally adopted her because her foster mother sensed that her son had feelings for Xu Qin and wanted to prevent any romantic relationship to develop between the both of them. Why did she not want them together? 1. Could be because she wanted both the kids to have marriages of convenience that would help the further the family's business/standing 2. Could be also that she already considered XQ her daughter and could not tolerate to see her kids in an incestuous relationship 3. I am thinking, based on one of her comments, that she also didn’t want her peers to think she fostered a kid for the sole purpose of marrying her into the family (an ancient practice that is now frowned upon)... so a reputational thing?
Maybe someone who read the book could shed some light on this

So it's a good thing they left the parents off the hook or else the public would have been even harsher on the cast
