It will be nice to see if international fans will do the same cause up until now I'm seeing unpleasant comments…
I will at least do my research by watching something that was recently made by whomever is cast in a project I'm looking forward to. If their acting was good in a previous project it just makes me that more excited to see the project that I was originally looking forward to. I don't get people who judge actors by a single headshot/photo. Actor/actresses will have charms that you can only see when they are on screen and moving/acting. I remember being meh about an actor and then watching them in a show/movie and being blown away by the rizz/"it" that they had. A single still image never does justice to a talented actor/actress.
glad that they change all the casts for this drama. I can somehow treat this drama as a new drama all over .
I think that's honestly important as they have completely different tones and also different POVs. Cause we really only see Sang Yan as an older brother/friend from Sang Zhi's pov in hidden love. This is his more true self and what outsiders see him as.
First Frost definitely has better story for me, I enjoy Hidden Love but at the same time it is forgettable? It…
I love both of their meet cutes. I watched A New Life Begins just when I found out that Bai Jing Ting was cast as Sang Yan and knew within the first episode that he was the perfect person to bring The First Frost Sang Yan to life. That perfect balance of aloof sarcasm/down bad soft marshmallow. And the styling they've done for the show is giving the idol grim reaper that we deserve.
with the teaser trailer being released....it seems like it's moving in that direction. So baring any hiccups no later than early 2025 imo. This story gives fall/winter vibes imo so might be released closer the the winter months.
I still don't understand why does #09 girl playing sang Zhi role are they back to past of sang Yan life ? If U…
This story covers about 8plus years from Sang Yan's high school days to post college life. So having the actress playing his younger sister be young is important. As I don't think they've shortened the age difference like they did in Hidden Love. (in hidden love they took about two years off of the age difference) As the story wont be focused on Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu's love story they can cast for the younger scenes and not need to worry about a younger actress having to kiss the male actor who is almost a decade older than her. Also just like how Sang Zhi sees her older brother as immature in her own story, Sang Yan sees Sang Zhi as his little demon. Aka the stories are from two different perspectives and though they are the same characters they will be told from Sang Yan's POV not Sang Zhi's POV.
is this related to Hidden Love? How is Hidden Love the parent story?
This is Sang Yan's story, the FL of Hidden Love's older brother. The story takes place a little before and at the same time as the events of Hidden Love. Sang Yan wasn't lying in Hidden Love when he said he had someone pursuing him etc.
I must admit I'm not too happy about the writers decision that the brother is still alive...
I like it only because each member of the family thinks the other two have been killed. They continue on even through torture and are rewarded with the knowledge that they didn't live in vain. They all fought for a day they could get revenge/justice against those who harmed their family. Also, no body, no death imo. I'm not sure I want to see him find out about his lover and what happened to her, but I'm sure he'll thank his sister for how she handled the man who did it. The brother kept his wits and should be able to testify about many things. The gold mine and the princess etc. Is it wrong of me to want the execution of SYR and his mother and sister? I feel like it would be poetic justice.
I have never felt this excitement before brooðŸ˜ðŸ˜ the intimate interactions for these two episode is on the…
I noticed that they haven't shown any kisses with people that aren't married. Cause we see a kiss with the FL and her husband early on...the dream. But other than that everything is hidden with camera angles and fade outs.
Whoever directed that kiss needs the guillotine . I was scammed by the teasersðŸ˜ðŸ˜ who started this trend…
Maybe to appease the sensor board for their longer cuts of those early episodes...like, "hey sorry we went over 40mins...we promise not to show any kisses between people who aren't married." Just joking, but I wanted the throw hands.
When Ye Shi Jie called Li(FL) by her real name Xue Fang Fei in episode 32 I lost it...I knew he suspected based…
the reason I was trying to remember if we had a more definitive scene of him realizing that she wasn't his cousin. Like the "dad" is definitely thinking about everything the princess said. but with him it was just lots and lots on longing looks. the actor is doing a really good job imo.
Rewatched the first 10 episodes with my Mom on Monday. Because I was loving it so much I practically did a power point presentation to get her to start watching it. I had watched the 30 released episodes on my own on Saturday/Sunday and was like oh this one is perfect need to show the mama. (Sundays and Mondays are my days off of work hence the double binge watching.)
When Ye Shi Jie called Li(FL) by her real name Xue Fang Fei in episode 32 I lost it...I knew he suspected based off of looks and other context clues, but the confidence in which he called her name....I was like daaaammmn...did I miss a scene? Did I have along blink while binge watching a few episodes? Did he over hear the entire conversation between her and her ex? I wanted a little clarity on exactly how long he's known who she is like we have with the ML. The Duke has always known who she is, and has only been waiting for her to tell him herself. These men around her willing to die and kill for her...we love to see it.
(Not including the ex husband in the "men" because he a coward and weak af. Cause he's all, "I don't want my family to die." Sir, you literally killed your wife, which is YOUR FAMILY, your sister could have been married off into another household by now, and your mother will eventually die of old age sooner rather than later. You hella dumb. And none of your excuses are going to work.)
I am up to episode 8 and i never watch a drama where i want someone to kill the ML (at the moment i assumes it…
They actually changed who the ML was halfway through production when they got an extension on episodes and the actual ML had prior commitments to attend to. So they switched the bodyguard for the Emperor as the male lead toward the back half of the show. The Emperor was supposed to be just the villain of the show. The romance was supposed to be between the Empress and her bodyguard.
