I'm living in Korea now, so I'll definitely go see this in theatres. I want to make sure the production company knows there is a demand for these kinds of stories, and it can make money. I hope the theatre will be full!!
There likely won't be subtitles, but I think I can understand the gist with my limited Korean, considering I've seen it before. :)
I'm rewatching this for the first time since it aired. It's a fun rewatch, knowing where it all heads. Even the small things, like seeing Korn and Wai hate each other, knowing they eventually open a bar together. ^^ Or the jealousy over Ink. Don't worry, Pran, she ends up in that family, just not in the way you think. ;)
Does anyone know of any edits for just the supporting couples? I know sometimes people edit together scenes of specific parts of shows, like they did for the PeteKao scenes from their show.
Based on the comments and the trailer, I don't really have an interest in the main couple or the show, but I'm curious about RamKing.
I know this is based on a manga that just finished. Does anyone know if this is likely to get a second season? Does this production company usually do sequels?
Who exactly thought that story 2 is the kind of stuff that should be promoted? People ruin idols' lives by fantasising…
I was relatively new to BL dramas when I watched Lovely Writer, so I didn't know people shipped the actors in real life. That drama went the other way - and showed the actor liking the writer instead, even though the producers kept pushing him to play up a flirtation with his acting partner.
I'm glad I watched that show early, because it made me skeptical of every comment saying actors are really together. Now I know they play it up for 'fan service'. I think of their 'relationship' outside of the show as just another role they're playing. I also hope none of those actors are being pressured to do it, and that they're doing it by choice, because otherwise that's sad. :(
strengthened their relationship? - Did we watch the same show? Kang Seo Joon have an abandonment issue but his…
Well said!
Ji Woo is trying so hard, because he knows what the alternative is. He's lived a year without Seo Joon, and he justified it by thinking SJ would move on quickly, because he's insecure enough to believe that was possible. But once he saw that SJ couldn't live without him either, he did everything in his power to be strong for him.
SJ didn't quickly forgive JW. He rejected him as long as he could, but he saw how far JW was willing to go, saw how much it took for him to take those steps, and that's why he forgave him. And yes, he's not just going to let JW stay the same as before. He accepted him back with the understanding that JW will continue to take those steps and be brave.
Finally I decided to try watching it until the end (I tried before but I dropped it). Unfortunately it didn't…
I just finished as well, and although I enjoyed the show for the most part, I do agree with you about Pharm's reaction to Dean. I understand that he's shy or something, but at a certain point I wanted him to stop acting like being affectionate with his boyfriend was a chore. He basically winced every time Dean tried to show physical affection.
As for Team wanting to (literally) sleep with Win, I think we were meant to assume that was a regular thing. I think there was a line that showed he did it often. I think they had a lot more scenes that were cut for time, that we'll see in Between Us.
It's basically a special appearance thing. That actor played lead role in another BL directed by the same director.…
Ohhhhhhhhhh!!! Okay, haha. That makes sense, then. I haven't watched a lot of shows from this director, so I didn't recognize any of the cameos.
Still though, they made such a big deal about him not knowing why it happened, I thought we'd get at least a scene in the present with him finally being told what happened. Even if it wasn't a "reunion" in that he knew Pharm was Intouch, but even just a small thing, like maybe he became a cop, too, and helped the cousin find the file or something, and finally got answers himself.
I don't know, he just seemed so upset at not knowing why his friend died, it stuck with me through the whole show. I kept expecting him to pop up in the present.
With all of the Korn / Intouch reunions (their sister-grandma, brother-uncle, dad-grandpa, etc), I was expecting Intouch's best friend to show up. They gave him such a focus in the past flashbacks, I thought he'd have a role in the present, too. In fact, I thought he'd be the uncle before the brother-uncle showed up.
Not a complaint, just something that might have been cut for time. It really seemed like they were going somewhere with his character.
I just finished this series and really enjoyed it. I'd been avoiding it for so long because I thought it was sad, and I wasn't ready for too much emotion. BUT, although it did have its sad parts (obviously) I found myself smiling through a lot of it. I especially loved the friendships in this show. You could tell the actors were comfortable with each other on set, and had fun making this. You can see their fun banter.
I can't wait for Between Us to see these characters again!
No, this takes place at the same time as UWMA. They originally wanted WinTeam scenes to be included in UWMA but…
Oh yes, I'm loving them, too. I believe their relationship both in the past and present. And I'm glad the show is focusing on them, because their story is so detailed and deep, it needs the time to develop. Which is why I'm super glad they're giving us a whole different show for WinTeam. :)

I just finished episode 11, and you're right - I'm really liking it. Probably going to finish it this weekend. :) Now I'm super pumped for Between Us!! We get so little of TeamWin (so far anyway), and I want more!

**calculates 16 weeks from November 18th = March 4th when the show is finished and I can binge it*** ...... dear god, that's so far away....
