yeah totally agree, i appreciate seeing arcarm also in the group meeting but we shouldn't be seeing more than 1 scene of them per a couple of episodes to see how they're kind of doing. instead of like the lovey-dovey scenes we could see how arc and arm relationship evolves as they both grow older and see little snippets of that instead of focusing to much on them; same with yotha and gun.

and also yes, if they're not going to treat the very deep trauma of the characters they could at least say that directly and how traumas are sometimes not "cured" but you learn to live with them better over time instead of throwing him in the shed and BOOM it was fine all along ♡.

i agree, i was also expecting a bit more faifahwine scenes in this ep. i didn't mind about the arcarm scenes, as they were somewhat connected to the peer mentee meeting but the pondsand couple feels just like a filler, they didn't even develop them that well.

i think mark's expressions are lacking more layers? i feel that he's almost there but can't really wrap up wine's character sometimes. tho in his defense i must say that it's still pretty much how he acts in the novel and the vibes i got from it.

i really hope for next ep they focus more on faifahwine and the important characters for their storyline.

not insomnia specifically, but it is mentioned pretty much throughout the first arc of faifahwine storyline how much he's struggling mental wise after the break up with his gf.

for the zombie enjoyers out there, is it good so far? i'm talking about the design of the zombies and the scientific background so far

no problem at all!! i am super invested in them so it's my pleasure to make a small essay about the relationship with their mother haha. from the premise i'd say faifahwine will have a good deal of angst in it! but so far yothagun storyline was way angstier than arcarm and a big surprise to me (in a good way)! i wasn't expecting to like it that much but they had me giggling and squealing at 4am so you might like it as well! ♡

yep!! i haven't read the novel yet so i'll tell you more or less what i got from the series episodes! so when faifah and yotha parents got divorced, faifah went to live with his mother and the new partner, but i think after around 6 years of living with her she had new kids and he got "returned" (i think he mentioned it exactly like this in the beginning). from the outside his relationship with his mother is good and he seems to be close to her, but in later episodes we can see how the mother frankly doesn't know anything about faifah (like giving him cow's milk for breakfast when he's allergic to it and it's yotha the one that likes milk).

faifah tries to be understanding of that and also tries to make a reconciliation between yotha and their mother possible so he is always talking good about her and trying to get in her shoes so yotha stops being angry for abandoning them.

in this last episode (episode 16) i think the focus of the series already started to shift towards faifah and we could see a better look on what his feelings for his mother might actually be. from here on it's mainly my interpretation as we still don't know how he truly feels, but he was very apparently sad when in this last episode yotha and their mom talked things out, as she basically said that she only took faifah to live with her bc if she had brought yotha with her they would have been happy just the two of them and never came to visit, but she knew that by bringing faifah with her he would want to go back at some point to be with his brothers and father. it was mainly the mother talking about how much she loves yotha and ignoring both newton and faifah (not completely tho, she hugged them all but was talking about yotha the whole time).

i hope we get some angst and a better look from him and him actually standing up for himself and setting boundaries with the mom as she totally overlooks him just bc he is friendly and thinks he won't feel hurt by her actions (sorry i'm the biggest faifah supporter i got really mad this last episode lmao).

tldr; overall from the whole vibe the relationship is "apparently" good and faifah tries to ignore how hurt he is from the mother's actions but he is clearly very traumatized by the whole thing and will probably unpack it a lot in his episodes.

i'm at episode 11 and yothagun storyline gives me major ao haru ride vibes i'm loving it

i had high hopes when starting this series too bc of fk and joong but i think this is an issue of the screenwriters/director, i can't beliefe this was directed by p'aof, i'm not sure if there were a lot of cuts between scenes but at some points it just feels like random scenes thrown together that have no continuity at all. objectively i know fk have a lot of chemistry as always, but the (bad) flow of the series made me not really be able to get immersed in their story which led me to not feel as much chemistry as i should either.

i feel they were going for like a dark series and even a touch of dark romance but fk storyline just feels like a comedy/parody at some points, me and my friends are just having a good time and not taking the series too seriously bc it makes no sense after episode 3/4 lmao
