Title Good Day
Couldn’t watch after this so-called superstar dropped his friend and fellow 88er who is going through hell at…
I'm sure it was not GD's decision. It's standard in the industry for an actor to step away from all projects when they are facing a scandal. If KSH was kept in the show, not only would the show get criticized, but he would have a lot more hate and harassment dumped on him. Putting any type of spotlight on him right now is the same as holding him to the fire. And don't forget that the music that is coming about through the show is benefiting charity, so it's important to protect that mission.

Also, GD is not friends with KSH, they are newly acquainted for work purposes. It's not like they've been best friends for years. He is not qualified to vouch for his character, history, or anything else. All the people involved in the show barely met KSH and have no grounds to stand up for him. Would you fight for someone you recently met just because they are a celebrity when you have no idea what they've done or what kind of person they really are?

It's sad that KSH had a scandal and that he was pulled from the show. Ultimately that came about as a result of choices and actions that he and his agency made. If you don't like GD, that's fine, but not supporting the show because of this particular issue seems unreasonable.

I have a couple of questions and hoping someone can clue me in. I had heard about Kim Sae Ron's drunk driving…
I was wondering the same things. We'll never get the full story and all the context from either side. For all I know, the mother could have encouraged SaeRon to get into a relationship with KSH in hopes it would further her career. There are so many nightmare stories of the parents of child entertainers. Their ambition often supersedes their parental responsibilities. What was SaeRon going through that caused her to make the choice to drive drunk? Where was her family's support then? It seems like this disaster had a lot of different contributors and was a long time in the making. If I had a 15 year old daughter (probably 13 in Korean age) who was dating an adult man, I'd pull her out of show business if I had to, to get her away from him. It's really unfair to put the responsibility of being the breadwinner on a child, if that was what happened. The fact is, I don't know so I can't judge. I have no clue what kind person any of these people are. I hope everyone can take personal responsibility for their own actions and that SaeRon can rest in peace. I don't like seeing anyone backed into a corner, condemned forever, livelihood taken away and hated by strangers who don't know the whole story. It happens so often that I think of netizens as a pack of bloodthirsty wolves who go from one target to the next. Now they are after KSH. He should pay for his wrongdoings in appropriate ways and grow from his mistakes like everyone else, but I don't agree with public persecution and condemnation. It just seems like all of this should be handled between police, lawyers and therapists. The court of public opinion tends to be poorly informed and not at all qualified.

The characters are all a mess so I'm not even going to comment on them. What I want to know is, how is the grandma paying for the nursing home? It's not like she sold her house. Nursing homes are more expensive than mortgages and the whole family is always financially strapped.

Well, the last episode was a little disjointed. I don't understand how GangSu's plans with Ryong can be achieved,…
As for what really happened at the end, the montages touched on what could have been, probabilities that didn't happen. I think the baby died young and Ryong returned to Earth blind and paralyzed where he lived out his life. When he died, Eve and Byeol were there to greet him so that was ultimately their happy ending.

Well, the last episode was a little disjointed. I don't understand how GangSu's plans with Ryong can be achieved, not only because of the legal complications, but Ryong's condition had been deteriorating. But, stranger things have happened in the world and I sometimes cannot believe the reality I find myself in when I read real headlines so ok, I can put that aside.

I think Eve and NaMi had their closure with the homecooked meal. There was really no need for more.

I wish the characters had made different choices, but I understand why they made their sacrifices and their lives were not less meaningful just because they did not fall in line with conventional practicality. Some things are worth trying and dying for, and especially if you believe that death is not the end, just another beginning.

Although it was not the ending I wanted, they did roll out the conclusion in a beautiful way. I noticed that some viewers wanted to take it as propaganda. The romance genre is fundamentally propaganda so it's our choice to watch or not watch. I chose to take it as meaning that life in all forms is precious, so don't take it for granted.

I expected Eve's pregnancy to be discovered while she was still on Earth, so the complicated craziness of trying to have the baby in space is an interesting twist. I guess a pregnancy test isn't standard in their preflight physical. Still loving this. I haven't done enough research to really be bothered by the more fantastical elements of the story, so I'm just appreciating the interaction of the characters. They are all complex and so relatable.

Fourteen episodes in and I still find this series to be exceptionally good. I love the messy characters who make mistakes, but you can still understand their motives and points of view. I'm cheering for them even as I agree that they should be held accountable for their actions. I love the element of wackiness that makes me laugh out loud. I love the thoughtful and original script. I love the cast who are giving the characters so much depth. I'm usually pretty critical about writing and pacing, but this drama has been engaging and suspenseful. It's gotten me curious about space and the effects of anti-gravity and I've been reading more about it. Additionally, there have been scenes where I just have to take a moment to acknowledge their brilliance. I'm usually not a fan of Lee Min Ho's acting, but he's giving an awesome performance in this. This drama has been a breath of fresh air and I'm hoping it sticks the landing.

So far, this drama has exceeded my expectations. The story is fresh and creative, the production quality is excellent, the cast is impressive and Lee Min Ho has never acted so well. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

This series is coming off flat to me. The writing, pacing and direction are all problematic. Earth's acting is exaggerated so it looks like he's playing a caricature of a character. It makes his emotions seem fake while Pond comes off as sincere and is providing all the chemistry. And how many scenes of Hill leaning in and Ter staring wide eyed do we have to endure? It loses all impact when it's used more than once. They set up each scene like it's supposed to be epically romantic, but if it's in every episode, it's flat, flat, flat. I feel like their intimacy is forced upon us instead of it developing though actual storytelling.

North and Johan are more interesting even though they are stuck in the no communication/debt trope. At least their interactions seem genuine.

I totally agree. Every flashback of their relationship just reveals more toxicity. He didn't talk to her for six months then came back to date her like nothing? Weird, toxic manipulative. And she just accepted it? No self respect, co-dependent. Their happy reunion at the end of episode 10 was sickening, not romantic. The fact that neither can function at work when they are having relationship issues at their age is just a neon red flag. Neither of them are capable of a healthy relationship right now. If there isn't a big twist in the last two episodes, this drama is a disaster.

Why not? If Eunho has suppressed emotions that she desperately wants to convey and could only do it through Hyeri,…
I agree, this really is the writer's fantasy and I think Hyeri and JuYeon healing together leading to EunHo and Hyeri integrating would be an ideal outcome.

HyunOh should just go for the marriage of convenience since it's all important to him to find someone who wants to be with the grannies and he has so little faith in EunHo that he won't even give her a chance. Then again, EunHo's constant need for validation probably didn't give him a whole lot of confidence in her, triggering his toxic white knight syndrome. They are terrible for each other. He needs to get into therapy himself.

The first four episodes were absolutely amazing. Loved every minute. But the fact that EunHo's DID was self induced due to her cosplaying as her sister for THREE YEARS isn't as intriguing to me. Yes, it speaks to her mental issues that she would do such a thing for a prolonged period of time, but I somehow can't sympathize as much as if she had developed DID through the trauma itself. Also, while she was cosplaying as her sister, she did not emulate her sister's style or personality. She's acting like an introverted version of her younger self, but not like her sister at all. Her sister never spoke or carried herself the way EunHo does when she is HyeRi. Maybe I need to research DID to get more out of this. Maybe the split personality does not take on the traits of the person they think they are. I don't know.

As for HyunOh not wanting to introduce EunHo to the grannies so she can make her own decision, I think it's himself that he's protecting, not her. He doesn't want to be the one rejected. And at any rate, EunHo fits right in with the grannies; it's really HyunOh's loss that he didn't give them a chance.

I thought this was going to be a fun whacky series dealing with DNA nerdiness, but they had to throw in a serial killer because they couldn't figure out how to just make a good romcom. I don't think any of the couples are compatible. No matter who you pair anyone with, I can't see them still being together five years down the line.

And what kind of hero complex does Mr Fireman have after the plant falls over and he does not call the police to properly handle the evidence? Does not warn SJ that someone just tried to kill her because he doesn't want to frighten her? She needs to be frightened and take more precautions than carrying around self defense items that she can't use properly. The police would have investigated faster and more efficiently than GH who is going around in an unofficial capacity when he's off work, not warning anyone about the plants, etc. He doesn't even call police when he discovers the wall of photos and figures it'll be faster to warn SJ by going to his father's restaurant than calling her. Well, if she gets hurt, he'll just piggyback her to the hospital five miles away rather than calling an ambulance because he's such a hero. I just can't take him seriously.

Extensions are the bane of my existence! I was really looking forward to this ending already. The accident is completely ridiculous. There is no way they would even be allowed to stand in that area. And if this is a device for NY to redeem herself I will absolutely hate it. After everything she's done and with how damaged she is, there is no way for her to change the way she thinks and acts because of one dramatic incident. Her twisted mind was decades in the making, it cannot be instantly undone. She needs at least ten years of hardship to come around. If she does redeem herself, there better be a long time jump to facilitate it. The fact that YJ was never punished for the huge sins she's committed, being coddled and accepted by her husband all this time even after he found out the truth is insane.

Why isn't JS' cheating on SY ever addressed? It seemed like she was the perfect wife, so why did he do it? They never have that discussion. He never feels bad or heartbroken or misses her. It's like he never loved SY and was just with her for convenience until he cheated on her. All along, I wished he would bitterly regret losing her and be miserable with YJ. But he had no emotions at all about it. He got caught and just swapped out his wife and moved on without a hitch. I want him to cry on his knees in front of SY and apologize and acknowledge that he threw away the best thing that ever happened to him only to pick up trash and have a trash life after her. It drives me crazy that he's just as happy to be with YJ as he was with SY even after finding out that YJ lied about the money and kept mother and daughter apart for 30 years. What a shallow, underdeveloped character!

I don't understand why no one reminds YJ that she stole her friend's husband and child? She has no right to be upset about anything. I don't understand how her husband could even stand the sight of her after finding out she lied about the money and caused his daughter 30 years of trauma. If I were the grandmother, every time YJ opened her mouth to complain, I would remind her of her sins and that she has no room to talk about anyone and is lucky they don't kick her out.

I guess SY will find out the truth of what JT did with the detective's help. But then will she reveal it? Mari is finally happy and plans to travel the world with JT who she finally feels good about. To find out the truth now will only hurt her and WooRi, whereas to keep it buried will let them live as a happy family. But on the other hand, the way JT abandoned a child and gaslit his wife for 30 years is unforgiveable.

I was really hoping that Jin Dan's father was a good person and would help Jin Dan cope and feel loved and accepted once he got kicked out of the house and formed a "normal" family with him. It seemed like foreshadowing when he told his mother that he wouldn't have felt so lonely if she had married a man with nothing to his name. But it looks like Jin Dan got his psychotic tendencies from his dad, so there goes his happily ever after. He really didn't stand a chance with his father's genes and his mother's horrible parenting. I know he's awful, but I was open to him having a chance at redemption.
