I'm kind of torn on this one. The plot is interesting, but the writing is sloppy, which leads me to believe that things will happen and be resolved "just because" and not for any reasons that make sense.

I almost dropped this after episode 8. The FL was super rude and annoying during that ep and I had to take a few…
The way the FL ate the grandmother's rice cakes at her house knowing that they were not for her seemed a bit out of character and totally disrespectful. Her reaction to overeating edibles was ridiculous. She would not have been able to run or spin around like she did as she would have felt overwhelmingly sleepy and dizzy. Really, she would have just laid down and slept it off without getting all weirdly energetic and destructive. Then the poor old woman was deprived of the one thing that relieved her pain, no one cared, and the main couple left as if they had done a good deed. That poor grandmother will now be impacted by pain every day of her life. Great job.

I also expected the FL to have some sympathy for Lee Pyun Woong. I mean, his story was really sad. No one saved him, he got twisted and used by his father, and was in dire need of therapy. It seemed like everyone just pushed him into a hole and showed him no humanity, so what did they expect? Yes, he was horrible, but I still thought his story was a sad one and that he could have been portrayed as a character that society had failed, and an example of someone who fell victim to circumstance when he could have been saved.

I almost dropped this after episode 8. The FL was super rude and annoying during that ep and I had to take a few months away before I could come back and finish. Overall, I guess it was entertaining enough, but the lack of police procedure at one point was ridiculous. I wish the side characters had been given more development as they were more interesting than the main couple. Their storylines could have given the drama some balance and depth.

The first two episode have been entertaining. The director doesn't seem to have a grasp of horror, though. He's not making use of any of the camera angles used to make scenes more thrilling and disorienting. It makes for bland action, but the story is interesting.

This had great potential and the leads had good chemistry, but towards the end, the total lack of police procedure took me out of the story. I wish the writing had been a little more clever, but at least the loose ends were tied up in the end.

I didn't really mind the awkwardness, the actors looked 12-15 years old which kind of fits the vibe. I don't know whether it was the script or the directing, but the long pauses were just tiring. I watched at 2x speed and it still dragged. There was no hook to the story. It was just one flat note. I wouldn't mind seeing the actors in something a bit more meaningful.

Such a cute and charming drama. Although parts of it were a bit draggy and I watched at 1.25x speed, it's still…
I thought the issue with the parents was a bit contrived and felt out of place just for some cheap drama, only to be resolved with no involvement of said parents, but I loved how they handled the passing of time and finally the kiss! Such a cute couple.

Well that was out of the blue. Noey was just asking for hand holding and kissing and suddenly he turns around and says he's going after Pam now? That seemed very out of character. I understand that the writers want to have a final conflict, but wish they had written it in a way that was believable. That being said, the solo dance was so sad and evoked more of a response in me than watching Noey being inconsistent for the first time. I hope the final episode redeems that one misstep in an otherwise super adorable and charming series.

Thank goodness this is over. It was more like a drama proposal made up of episode summaries without taking us through the story in detail. While I loved the characters and wanted to know what happened to them, it also felt like a waste of time to watch the series because I felt no connection with it.

It seemed like the writers tried to pack a lot of different things into this drama, and yet it also dragged quite a bit in the middle. I felt like I had been spending time with someone who was going through mood swings with how the drama changed tones in a weird way. The end was a bit rushed and anti-climactic so while I admit that there were a lot of good scenes in the series, it did not end on a very satisfying note for me. Still, I think it was worth watching at 1.5x speed.

I loved the characters, but found the writing lacking. Why create side couples that will get no real development? Smoothing over/ignoring serious issues made the story feel unresolved. The series started out great, but ended on a bland note.

This feels like we're skimming over a story just to see what happens rather than being immersed and connected with the characters. It's boring and I don't care about any of them. It's too bad because this really had potential, but I honestly feel nothing.

I disagree. Don't bother. There's close to no plot whatsoever. Boring as hell. The parent story Tonhon Chonlatee…
Yeah, their characters are totally unrecognizable here, I just had to disregard the connection altogether.

I couldn't agree more. I really enjoyed Tonhon Chonlatee. But Ai Long Nhai is boring me to tears.

I was hoping this series would be of the same caliber as UWMA, but it's just not. The writing isn't nearly as good. I'm not feeling the chemistry between any of the couples. I want to like this, but I find myself watching at 2x speed just to get through it.

This is like a breath of fresh air. The characters are so quirky, the story is fun, and it just puts me in a happy mood.

I read the book and about to give you a spoiled….. pls stop reading if you don’t want to know…@@@@@@@@@@@The…
Thank you for posting that! Despite the problematic theme, it does make for a better story and actual depth of character than what we're seeing in the series. It seems like they threw out the plot, kept the toxicity and served it up as burning trash.
