Wei Ta Xin Huang Yi Luan (2024) aka Distraught for Her is a miniseries that could have been great given the fact that most of the cast did great performing the characters’ emotions and facial expressions but the drama not only has a ridiculous amount of physical and emotional violence but also, even after the parents know the truth, they still doubted their own daughter. The drama also needed about ten more minutes to give Nana/Qiao Xi and Brother Xiaofu/Fu Nanshan a real happy ending after being forgiven. Zhang Bei Xi did a great job playing the strong willed, easily confused, and distraught male lead that has been looking for Nana for fifteen years. Overall, after what the female lead had to endured, the drama deserved a more complete and satisfying ending.

The Deliberations of Love (2023) is a great rebirth romance fantasy miniseries set in a historical period with Richard Li (as Pei Xun [Sixth Prince) and Zhao Jia Min (as Liu Yue Qing) in the leading couple role. The plot is well written and it’s fun to see Liu Yue Qing trying, by all means, to avoid dying again. On her quest to change her failed attempts to stay alive, she keeps getting involved with Prince Pei Xun and can’t help falling in love with him all over again. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple has great playful and romantic chemistry. Overall, the drama is entertaining, Enjoy it!

Tiang Jiang Wu Bao, Qian Yi Die Di Kuai Tou Xiang (2023) is a very nice romantic comedy with Chen Si (as Li Han Ting) and Li Ruo Qi (as Su Li) in the leading couple role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has very good playful and romantic chemistry. The miniseries has 5 children actors that also did a great job with their assigned roles. Overall, this is a lighthearted and funny drama that is quite entertaining, enjoy it!

Shan Hun Hou, Gu Zong Ma Jia Cang Bu Zhu Le (2023) is a romance miniseries with Lu Shan Dong (as Gu Huai Yan) and Zhang Chu Xuan (as Duan Qing Yu) on the leading couple’s role. The storyline is nice and the conflicts are quickly resolved; antagonists are not up to par with the leading couple’s resilience and desire to be together. Lu Shan Dong and Zhang Chu Xuan have a nice playful chemistry but the romance was bland and even if they looked nice and acted cutely together, their romantic scenes were uneventful.

Gentle Temptation (2023) is a nice romance drama with Wang Bo (as Bo Wang) and You Zhi Yuan (as Lu Zhi Ling) on the leading couple’s role. As upset and suspicious that Bo Wang was about marrying Lu Zhi Ling, he cannot help himself in coming to her rescue every time she was in trouble. The lead couple just happen to be a pair of unfortunate individuals that grew up with anguished of mind but they were both also smart and strong headed. As they lived together and held each other’s hand in the face of danger and betrayal, they started to fall in love. Lu Zhi Ling, little by little, broke down Bo Wang’s defenses and , as he became more vulnerable, he melted Lu Zhi Ling’s heart. The drama is not perfect and there is a lot chocking and some slapping that was totally unnecessary but, overall, the leading couple’s chemistry made is worth watching. Xin Gan Chong (2024) This is a very nice romance drama with Zhen Zi Qi (as Bo Wang) and An An (as Lu Zhi Ling) in the lead couple’s role. The drama is really fast paced and, although there is more than one antagonist, Bo Wang and Lu Zhi Ling work together and apart to be a step ahead of their antics. The leading couple has good chemistry and a great playful camaraderie.

There Are Always Bad People Who Want to Hurt Me is a 2024 historical to modern times romance drama with some hilarious comedic moments. The drama has Jia Pei Kai as the male leading characters Daxi Emperor/Gu Jing Ci and Zhu Mo Yan as the female leading characters Shen Qing/Shen Si Wei. The leading couple has very good chemistry, especially on their playful moments since, even though their fondness is nicely conveyed, the romantic scenes are blurred and short, which made those moments seem fake. Aside from that, the drama is very entertaining, enjoy it!

Prefer to Your Highness Princess (2024) (Can be found on You Tube under the caption: [ENG SUB]Reborn and Loved by My Possessive Brother) This is a nice revenge miniseries with Zhang Ji Jun as Gu Si Ye and Meng Na as Tan Shu Yu in the leading couple’s role. Although the lead couple has some good romantic scenes, they were done in a flash and the chemistry was on and off, especially from Meng Na. The revenge was planned according to Tan Shu Yu knowledge of her past life but, even though the antagonists got what they deserved, there were some ridiculous incidents on the drama but, overall, it is entertaining.

Chong Sheng Zhi Jiang Men Di Fei (2023) is a rebirth drama with a very slight romance that has Hou Mingxuan (as Chu Qingce) and Xia Qian as (Xie Zhiyun) in the leading couple’s role. The story is more about Xie Zhiyun rebirth after she and her family are betrayed by her husband and her adopted sister. In her new life, she gets revenge and gets in a relationship with Prince Chu Qingce. Although the plot was nice, the acting is not that great and the romance is toned down; also the acting is not the best. Her mother, Shen Bi Yu (played by Yao Yuchen) has been abandoned and forced to get a divorce and move away with Ruyi. It is after that that Ruyi meets Duke Wei Zhen Dong (played by Zhou Hang) whom she immediately liked. With the experience and intelligence of the soul inside her body, Ruyi starts a plan to help her unfortunate mother get a better social status, a lovely man as a daddy for herself and a strong, affectionate, and protective husband for her mother. Although there is a slight but really nice romance between the leading couple, the plot centers on Ruyi who was excellently portrayed by a great child actress, Yang Xinyan. Overall, the cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life and the miniseries is quite entertaining, enjoy it!

Pei Jiao Shou Ni Bu Dui Jin (2024) is a very nice adaptation from the web novel "Sheng Wen You Wen". The leading man Chen Zheng Yang (as Pei Zhi He and) and the leading lady Wu Yi Qiao (as Jiang Qiao) are both smart, quick-witted strong characters, and are ganuine with each other, and have very good chemistry. The leading man is earnest in his desire to be with her and has, for a long time, been protecting and helping her from a distance. There is no manipulation, he simply saw an opportunity and, once they got married, he would not let anyone get in his way in order to have her by his side. Overall, this drama is very entertaining; enjoy it!

Kao Jin Wei Xian De Ta (2024) is a very nice romantic drama that starts with revenge and ends in love for the leading couple played by Liu Qing as Lu Zhi Zhan and Hu Dong Qing as Jiang Ke Hua. Jian Ke Hua believes Lu Zhi Zhan has something to do with her father’s puzzling death and she approaches Lu Zhi Zhan to find the truth. Both Zhi Zhan and Ke Hua are smart, scheming, and resilient so, they both engage on a cat and mouse game that leads them to slowly fall in love with each other; but danger lurk in the most familiar places and Ke Hua is led to believe that Zhi Zhan killed her father. Painfully, she decides to act against Zhi Zhan. This drama is well written and the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life, It has a happy ending and the leading couple has great chemistry. The drama has many different captions on YouTube which have some problems with audio, subtitles, or loud music.
