You Are the April Day on Earth (2023) is a miniseries and can be found on YouTube under the captions: “After Two Years of Marriage, My Husband Seeks Divorce at First Sight | You're the Radiance of Night”. The leading couple, Si Yi Han (played by Zhang Ji Jun) and Ye Nan Sheng (played by Zuo Yi), have a cute chemistry but their intimate moments are just sweet interactions and they don’t have great romantic chemistry. There is a good amount of misunderstanding and the female lead is constantly imagining things and getting upset instead of asking the male lead directly. Still, the drama manages to end up with a happy and cute ending. Was this review helpful to you?

Determination to Leave (2024) is a miniseries about Jiang Yue, (played by Peng Dai Dai), her rebirth and a new opportunity to get back what is righteously her. The drama is more about using her prior knowledge and outsmarting her adversaries. Although she finds support and love on her childhood friend, Gu Jin Chao (played by Xie Hong Xin), who was always looking for her, this drama is not about their romance but it is about finding your true worth and the people in your life that deserves your love and attention. Although sometimes she seems callous and heartless toward her biological family, in the long run, they dug their own graves, and Jiang Ye didn’t exactly got revenge, she got justice. The drama is okay for people who like to watch the victim getting what is owned to her and the abusers getting what they deserved, but the drama got boring and the female lead didn’t have a good variety of facial expressions. (YouTube title: Girl and CEO team up for revenge, but CEO falls in love with me.)
ML: Sun Yue as Gong Mo Yu
FL: Yu Yin as Nan Qian
This is a very short rebirth/revenge miniseries with a solid plot and good performances from most of the cast. Although there are no intimate romantic scenes, the leading couple was able to convey their care and amorous feelings toward each other in a way that the audience could feel that they loved each other. The ending was rushed but the drama is still entertaining.

Ji Zong Nin De Ma Jia Ruo Diao Le (2023), with the leading couple Sun Yue as Ji Ming Xiu and Xu Yi Zhen as Xia Yan, is supposed to be a romantic drama but it is more a romantic comedy with some really funny moments and an insipid romance. The leading couple has a nice playful chemistry but there are no sparks in the relationship. The leading male has liked her for a long time and, although they have an intimate night together already, once they get married, she keeps him at bay for most of the drama even when he is constantly helping her and showing his love in many ways. The story is one that has been played many times but in this one, to make matters worse, the female lead has an incurable disease, forces him to divorce, and leaves him so he will not suffer but he spends five years suffering from loving and missing her. Her friends, thinking that he has moved on, are accusative and dare to say that she has always wanted to come back to him and, on the long run, it turns out that it is up to him to get her back. Overall, the drama is not really romantic, the pace, even though the drama is short, seems like an eternity to get to a “happy” ending with a boring and bland ending. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama has a nice plot but it needed more episodes to flesh out the main characters. The female lead’s different skills are overly exceptional and how she acquired them is not properly explained; also, her personality, at some point toward the end, becomes childish and foolish. The male lead’s character is consistent and he truly shows his love, but the leading couple lacks chemistry and their romantic scenes are either constantly interrupted or lacked intimacy. There are some twists and turns that get better explain toward the end but it was not enough to save the drama from been overly ridiculous which, if it was an attempt to provide a comedic relief, it only served to leave the viewers scratching their heads. My Lover is a drama that started with a good premise of a fake niece and uncle that ended up falling in love with each other but the entire drama is more about people bribing them and a revenge plot that lacked planning and execution. The leading couple had a nice playful chemistry but there are no real intimate interactions that could even get close to the given title of My Lover which should be changed to its native title 我的大叔 (My Uncle). The acting is subpar for most of the cast and there is no romantic chemistry between the leading couple. Was this review helpful to you?

The Princess’s New Clothes is a nice transmigration miniseries. This drama should’ve been a little bit longer to give depth to the cast, and especially, to give the romance development of the main couple time to immerse themselves into each other as leading lady gets to know and reciprocate the leading’s man’s loyal and steadfast love for her in any lifetime. The acting was good enough to make the drama entertaining but the story could’ve had the leading couple be more expressive with their facial expressions. Still, the drama is entertaining, enjoy it! Be with you (2017) is probably one of the most tedious romantic melodramas with full of characters that lack consideration for others and are only concerned with themselves while claiming that they love and care for others. In reality, the supposedly least selfish person, the female lead, was the worst character written in a romantic storyline. Although by the end, she did everything to protect the male lead; she put him through needless emotional torture throughout the whole drama, instead of holding on to him and working together once the truth about past misunderstandings unraveled. Parents on this drama were some of the worst, especially in the Yao family, that father had no redeemable qualities. The leading couple seemed to have had great chemistry on the flashbacks but the leading lady’s facial expressions toward the male lead were cold and distant. Overall, this drama is not recommendable.
