Mei Gui Zhi Ye (2025) is a miniseries that has revenge, romance, and mystery. The drama has Yao Guan Yu (as Bo Han Nian) and Li Ke Yi (as Xu Xiao Ke) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple has very good chemistry. The drama delivers in the romance (although it is slow burn) but, for a drama that is less than 90 minutes long, the lead couple did great with their romance story. The revenge plot is also gratifying but the mystery about Xiao Ke’s blood is not well developed. Still, this drama is nice and entertaining, enjoy it!

Spring (2025) is a romance miniseries with Lei Xiao Mi (as Zhuoming) and Zhang Yu Xuan (as An Wen Tan) in the lead couple’s role. The cast did well bringing their characters to life and the drama highlighted some aspect and difficulties in the lives of people involved in the entertainment industry. The leading couple had a great rapport but their intimate scenes, apart for some been sensual, were covered by body positioning and the couple lacked intense chemistry. Overall, the drama was nice to watch.

- Spring Day (2025) is a very good miniseries with Chen Zheng Yang (as Song Zheng) and Guo Yu Xin as (Fu Qingyin) in the lead couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has a fantastic chemistry. Both male and female leads have strong and protective personalities that show how deeply they care for each other. The male lead is very well written as a mature person that encourages healthy and open conversations with the female lead and loves his wife regardless of her demeanor or disposition even when she giving others what they deserved. The drama is very nice and entertaining, enjoy it!

Si Jin (2025) is a good rebirth romance fantasy drama with Zhang Wan Yi as Yu Qi / Yu Jin/7th Prince and Jing Tian as Jiang Si in the leading couple’s role. The series centers on a rebirth theme that develops nicely as the drama progresses. There is very good choreography of action scenes, great cinematography and OST. The cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life with al great performance from Zhang Chi as Jiang Zhan. The drama has a strong start, slows a little midway but it picks up good pace again until the last two episodes when Jiang Si goes to Nanwu in order to stop the war and work on a peaceful agreement between the two nations. Both leading couple’s characters are strong minded, intelligent, protective, and steadfast in their feelings. The supporting cast and their stories complement and flow with the plot; they also did a good job performing their characters. Zhang Wan Yi and Jing Tian show great teamwork and a very nice romantic chemistry through their slow burned romance but, even if there were some suave and nice romantic scenes, most of them were of the endearing and heartwarming kind. Overall, this is a good drama about second chances for Jiang Si to right the wrongs with the support of Yu Jin and a group of great friends and family and to also take a leap of faith on her relationship with Yu Qi. Lu Jia Fu Ren Shi Nv Xia (2023) is a nice transmigration plot with Huang Bo (as Lu Yi Ming) and
Xie Hong Xin (as Lu Ye Xuan) in the main male roles. As of today, 5/4/2025, there is no mention on the name of the female lead role, which is the leading role that transmigrated and seeks justice for the modern times Lin Shu Yi. The drama has a female supporting cast that is the instigator and constantly antagonizes the leading female in the drama. The drama did the revenge part but it lacks emotions and the chemistry among the leading lady is off because she took the revenge cause for Lin Shu Yi well but the romance, even when it had some intimacy, it lacked feelings, especially from the female lead.

-Liang Chen Duo Xiang Yi (2024) is a nice and cute miniseries with male lead Zuo Ming (as Lu Huai Chuan) and female lead Zhai Yi Ying (as Shen Xiang Yi). The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and, although some supporting characters could’ve done better, the leading couple had some cute interactions, There was a misunderstanding from Shen Xiang Yi toward Lu Huai Chuan but nothing could stop them from falling in love with each other. The leading couple didn’t have a great romantic chemistry but they had some nice and tender interactions and a very nice and lovely intellectual chemistry

Jia Gei Can Ji Da Lao Hou Bei Chong Shang Tian (2024) is a nice romcom miniseries with male lead Wang Nan as Gu Pei Ze and female lead Peng Dai Dai as Sang Nian. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life within the time constrains of the mini drama format. Both Wang Nan and Peng Dai Dai portrayed delightful and strong characters with a funny dose of humor and great team and romantic chemistry. Overall, this drama is quite entertaining, enjoy it!

After Severing Ties, My Uncle Spoils Me Very Much (2024) is a rebirth romance miniseries with male lead Wang Nan in the main role as Pei Sinian and female lead Mao Xiang Lin/Shu Han in the main role as Shen Nian. Although the drama is nice, it is more about Shen Nian and her mistreatment at the hands of her biological family which chose to save the adopted conniving daughter after she set the warehouse on fire where Nian lost her life even though Pei Sinian tried to save her. After rebirth, she leaves her family and goes back to Pei Sinian who took her from the orphanage and raised her. This version is good in the sense that, at the end. she chose not to forgive and be a part of her biological family and stayed with Pei Sinian and their love story developed. Although the family interactions and end results were well done and satisfying, the romance was cute but bland and boring.

Title: Marry (2025) Is a cute romance miniseries with Zhang Bai Yun/Ka Rong (as Zhou Yiang) and Meng Lu (as Luo Xi) in the leading couple/s role. Although the premise is nice, it suits more a drama with regular episodes since everything felt rushed. The male lead, Zhang Bai Yun, put great effort in bringing his character to life and also provided some light funny moments with his friend. On the other side, Meng Lu, the female lead, was weak in showing the right range of emotions. Overall, this miniseries would have been much better if the leading couple would have had better chemistry.

Wei Ta Xin Huang Yi Luan (2024) aka Distraught for Her is a miniseries that could have been great given the fact that most of the cast did great performing the characters’ emotions and facial expressions but the drama not only has a ridiculous amount of physical and emotional violence but also, even after the parents know the truth, they still doubted their own daughter. The drama also needed about ten more minutes to give Nana/Qiao Xi and Brother Xiaofu/Fu Nanshan a real happy ending after being forgiven. Zhang Bei Xi did a great job playing the strong willed, easily confused, and distraught male lead that has been looking for Nana for fifteen years. Overall, after what the female lead had to endured, the drama deserved a more complete and satisfying ending.

The story is not friendly with obese people and the female lead suffers a lot of ridicule before she lost her weight. There is really some push and pull from the leading couple and the female lead is seen going through the conflict of getting her feelings back. Because even her husband accused her of shaming the family with her actions but also shows a moment of disgust. The characters on this story needed more time to have their roles more developed to sympathize with the male lead. One must say that, for the genre of the drama to be romance, the only romantic scene in this drama is at the very end and it was not so romantic. Overall, the drama is still nice,

Gentle Temptation (2023) is a nice romance drama with Wang Bo (as Bo Wang) and You Zhi Yuan (as Lu Zhi Ling) on the leading couple’s role. As upset and suspicious that Bo Wang was about marrying Lu Zhi Ling, he cannot help himself in coming to her rescue every time she was in trouble. The lead couple just happen to be a pair of unfortunate individuals that grew up with anguished of mind but they were both also smart and strong headed. As they lived together and held each other’s hand in the face of danger and betrayal, they started to fall in love. Lu Zhi Ling, little by little, broke down Bo Wang’s defenses and , as he became more vulnerable, he melted Lu Zhi Ling’s heart. The drama is not perfect and there is a lot chocking and some slapping that was totally unnecessary but, overall, the leading couple’s chemistry made is worth watching.
