This period fantasy drama is a gem. Everything was done at a high quality and the cast did a great job bringing their characters to life. Both leading characters (Mark Chao as Mo Yuan / Ye Hua /Jin Lian/Zhao Ge and Yang Mi as Si Yin / Su Su / Bai Qian) were brilliant and flawless in their acting; their chemistry was strong no matter which character they were playing at a given time. Mo Yuan and Bai Quian love story is beautiful, painful at times, but always breathtaking. Seen these two actors playing such different multiple roles and doing it in a way that, although every character was different, the essence of their soul and their strong love bond was believable, is perfect and mesmerizing. The OST is beautiful and emotive, and the drama has beautiful costumes, great CGI’s, and well choreograph action scenes. Great drama, enjoy it!

This is a great crime fantasy drama! Although there are many negative comments, too many are really unjustified. The drama is very entertaining and the actors did a great job bringing these characters to life. The leading couple has great chemistry and rapport, although there were not many romantic scenes, the ones that they had were nicely done. The antagonists also did a tremendous job delivering spine-chilling scenes. It is true that there are some things about the Abyss, a soul-reviving marble, that were not explained and it could be bothersome to some viewers. Also, the end is really nice but it felt a little bit rushed, but overall speaking, the drama is really entertaining. Enjoy it!

Both male and female lead are strong, intelligent, and warmhearted individuals that meet under misunderstanding and emotional turmoil as the female lead seeks revenge for her father's death; they both navigate their relationship through uncertainty, the yearn to bring about justice, and misconception while falling madly on love with each other. The love story, although poignant sometimes, is a beautiful journey and a celebration to love. This drama is very entertaining; enjoy it!
