Now I'm wondering what OST or BGM they would have played for the wedding scenes. Do you think it would have still been "It All Started When I Met You"?

So TFF is like the opposite of SAL where it seemed like the director for SAL ideally would have added more episodes but instead scenes got cut. 😂

Yeah, sort of looking back, I think the actual focus on JM/JZ throughout the series without a lot of unnecessary side character story lines is one of my favorite things about the show in general. I get easily bored by stories I'm not interested in, so I tend to skip around a lot in those sort of shows or just lose interest overall. It makes for a quicker watch when I do stick it out, but it's definitely not satisfying

Mike was one of the biggest cheerleaders throughout the show lol. I didn't realize it, but in the closing ceremony photos they took, his hair is black. He mentioned in one of the livestreams production wanted him as a brunette even though he wanted to keep the black hair. After he was done filming his scenes, he dyed his hair back, so he was technically off the clock/already done with filming when he came back to see the last scenes finish filming.

Indeed! The cringe is part of the fun with this show!

On my rewatch, I didn't realize how WILD the fight scenes looked. JZ was almost flying around at some points.

Yeah, I agree with the sentiment that while YSX isn't the best of the best out there (and I don't think she's ever claimed to be), she's not the worst of the worst and she is improving. I definitely noticed areas she can still improve upon in SAL, but I also saw some moments with real potential too.

The mentality some viewers seem to have that they MUST watch her dramas even though they hate her is sort of fascinating to me, and this really applies to all actors in general. I just think it's got to be a miserable viewing experience where you go into a show predetermined to hate someone just to then be able to "justify" your hate for them. Life would be so much happier for these people if they just focused on shows and actors/actresses they enjoyed.

Yeah, there's a Thai Sweet variety show too. It's very cute and the cast is hilarious! The stairwell scene re-enactments in EP3 are a must watch imo.

Just as a heads up though, HY had to leave about halfway through the show for personal reasons, but they brought in other cast members and Zhang Bichen (end scene OST singer) so it was still fun to watch.

And yes, I did see the clips of DYX and YSX at Tencent. That was really sweet too and is what is giving me hope that even if we don't see it in public, HY and YSX can remain friends.

Wait, did you watch that last live stream when they mentioned the SAL concert? I laughed so hard when HY immediately said the SAL concert would just be one song (Para Para Sakura) so they would all jump around one by one and then as a group and then YSX said they would then go two by two to fill in the time. 🤣🤣

I'm hoping Mike will pull through on that SAL concert lol or the cast will do a mini reunion in Thailand at some point that was mentioned in the last live. Ahhh. I'm glad they have indicated they will remain in contact. I do think it's great to see male/female friendships in the industry because I imagine if nothing else, it's good to have people in the same industry to be able to talk to and set an example to more toxic CP fans that guys and girls can be just friends. I think outside of Dylan, Esther has done a pretty good job at keeping decent friendships with most of her male co-stars so fingers crossed.

I wanted to give a shoutout to Mike for being a great Thai host/friend throughout the series. He was hilarious throughout the 12 episodes.

Obviously, I don't know these people and I can only presume, but everything just gave that the SAL cast got along for the most part based on the BTS clips and actually became friends. The cast also just seems charming and open to having a good laugh together which is what I think comes off on the screen and BTS. YSX and HY also just seem to have similar senses of humor IRL which makes them just fun to watch. With how they were able to make us grow so attached to the drama and then seeing them also get along IRL working together to promote the show to the best of their abilities on their own, it's just sweet. That's why I'm hoping if nothing else, they can remain at least friends/good colleagues BTS for as long as possible.

Do we know who else the screenwriter has casted in the past/what projects she has upcoming? I'm curious if she might just have a sixth sense for this sort of thing or if this was a one off where things just came together in the end.

I believe I saw she was at a script reading for Yun Chu Ling within the last couple days with the rumored male lead. It's on her MDL page if you want to check it out. I'm not sure if whatever is going on in China means filming will be more hidden/unofficial though.

I'm also interested in how HY does. It is actually sort of exciting to see actors/actresses get their break and how they grow from there. I did learn that idol actors/actresses can get overworked with shooting 3+ dramas/year, so hopefully with this big break, he can get better opportunities and not have to exhaust himself while dealing with all the new attention.

He Zhang (I think that was his name - the blond guy from Wan's garage) likes her but things happen and post Thailand, we sort of lose Snakey until the very end where she's there mostly to just be support. I think though they could have been cute if explored.

I also loved just how much that comment bothered JZ who is normally so nonchalant🤣

It’s definitely Wattpad coded which is what lends part of its charm to those who enjoy it, but if that’s not something you’re into, that’s understandable. Watch stuff that makes you happy.

I saw a TT comment with her face in that scene as a meme and it was perfect all around 😆
