Just finished episode 5. What an amazing drama! Have all the ingredients to become an all time classic! It does…
Well said. Yeah most people are good with leaving a spoiler tag, so you should be ok. I also like the banter between the two. I think Gil Chae has already slipped up a time or two and semi-confessed without realizing what she said haha.
So…. My Dearest is somewhat a bit based on Gone with the Wind. Would be cool if they made a Kdrama somewhat…
I've seen all of Outlander so far, but I'm about ready for it to come to an end. Like you said it would make for a good Kdrama, but without showing the full explicit scenes. Maybe leaving it to the viewers imagination. :)
Looking forward to eps 6 later today. Looking back; eps 1 and 4 are my favorites so far.
Like when he sees the blood on her dagger and reflects on what she must've endured. "I'm proud of you" was a defining…
I'm with you. At some point I'll invest one day and watch the whole thing in succession. I might re-watch 1-6 in a few days since I always miss some details.
Im so lucky that I decided to watch this drama, it is so well executed, acted, script, cinematography not your…
I think the audience will be much larger later on, once more people hear about it. IMO the IMDB rating will be right at 9.0 by series end. It's already at 8.7 now with not many reviews given yet. Like you said; I do like their journey, their banter, and watching them slowly falling in love. Love and War would've been a fitting title for this one. The writer picked the perfect director and cast.
Another great episode. I really like the use of camera angles and zoom-ins with the music tied in. Pretty interesting to see two polar opposite characters slowly form a bonding relationship.
What?!?! Finally a confident, funny and strong opinion woman! I’m obsessed with her!
Yep. Pretty well sums it up. The fact that she acts spoiled, then grows as a person is the whole point of the story. Can't have one without the other. Personally, I like her wit and other traits as well.
No. In this drama there is a very specific reason for him to be older. He has to be older and more experienced…
@some random cool nuna I couldn't agree more with your comment. In this setting, it makes perfect sense. I've seen almost every historical drama have a middle-aged councilman or whatever have a mistress or concubine half their age. I don't think it's a big deal at all. Age gaps were even more common a century or more ago. Age is just a number.
I just come back to check the rating every day because this ain't no 8.3 and this pisses me off so much. If we…
I think it could easily top out at 9.0 or 9.2, surpassing Mr. Sunshine at 8.9 On IMDB, both have a 8.7 rating. I gave it a 9.5. Only thing that sucks is waiting a week lol
Looking forward to eps 6 later today. Looking back; eps 1 and 4 are my favorites so far.
I've still yet to watch Six Flying Dragons. Maybe that'll occupy me.
"I'm proud of you" was a defining moment I believe...
