I liked Queen: Love and War and the Grand Prince. Both have a decent mix of romance and serious elements sprinkled in. If you liked Princess' Man, you'd like these, maybe. Just thought I'd mention some I'm watching right now.

I can definitely appreciate your viewpoint, although I like this mixture of brewing romance and banter between the leads. This show seems to have a good mix. I don't want to see blood and war the whole time. But, yes the slap scene was a VERY poignant moment of that eps.

It's just portrayed that way to show how a very naive person is undoubtedly getting ready to drastically change as a person. I don't think you were harsh, btw. It just adds more to the story moving forward imo.
