So many! How about Return of the Condor Heroes??Kdrama’s Goblin
Ah goblin
I fast forwarded all the romantic scenes in it and only stayed for the goblin-grim reaper story and bromance.
On the other hand, Hidden love is perfectly normal and highly watchable for me. It's also my first drama with the leads so no bias or anything. So I guess it explains the haters are forcefully creating issues out of nowhere.
The fish thing was so out of place that it almost felt like the writer was joking
>thought the whole purple outfit thing was ghost
Oh it annoyed me. Like the whole purpose of that purple outfit thing was merely a mislead? It doesn't even connect with the story. Even a Dumbo wouldn't be this clueless to go threat someone in that eye catching attire, and that too, thrice at the same place. He was screaming to get caught.
The writer has interesting concepts, but can't seem to seamlessly weave them into a single story.
I actually enjoyed the first few episodes (not with child actress's ones btw). The character dynamics of the sang…
I know I am also often mistaken for my short height.
It's not only because of her height, she looks more like an elementary school kid because of her appearance and growth.
Besides, girls usually reach puberty when in 8th grade and have visible growths. One can be mistaken as 1-2 years younger at this stage of life, but the child actress here looks like she is hardly above 10 years old.
I got your point. You are forgetting one thing about why most people actually watch drama- to be entertained.Entertainment…
Ah now you are showing a bit bias here. I actually checked Zhao lusi's mdl page and if your point was logical, all her drama should be sitting at 9+ rating.

I agree the child actress is very talented but imo she doesn't look suitable for the role, looked too small for her age and it made me slightly uncomfortable.
Come on guys, its not that good !I will give you guys reasoning for my opinion.Firstly, there is no denying the…
I got your point.

Entertainment doesn't always need to have complex plots or touch serious issues of human and society. If a drama with a simple, generic plot can make viewers entertained with least effort, it deserves the credit.
Remember that there are actually two groups in fiction, literary fiction and generic fiction. You are making a mistake if you judge one type based on the other one.
Curious to know your rating criteria as your watch list rating seemed a bit conflicting to me. I am not meaning…
I get your point.
I don't know about others but I group drama into two groups before rating them- (1) quality drama deserving of strict rating (think about drama like stranger) and (2) entertaining/comforting drama (no strict criteria)
Hidden love falls in the second group. Plot is generic and predictable, but this lack of complexities actually elevates this drama. Because it manages to give comfort and invoke feelings with least effort.
Think of any such simple comfort drama and try to compare them with this one. Compare the character dynamics, scene flow, acting, cinematography, editing, ost and such. I guess you will get your answer then why this drama is rated high :)
wtf 9.1.. No way... Only thing better in this drama is acting... rest all are average... same old ML is poor AF...…
Curious to know your rating criteria as your watch list rating seemed a bit conflicting to me. I am not meaning to pick a fight or being judgemental btw, purely curious.
The box contained whole finger when the shaman handed it to her and as the drama implied, granny hid it in the same night.
It's definitely director issue because the acting was the best part of s1.

4- Remember to touch grass. The amount of people making entertainment an important part of their life is hilariously ridiculous.

Also, you must have noticed that I am pretty stingy with my ratings.
Since I have recently watched mth, it will be easier to say why I cut points.
1) subplots don't complement as a whole.
2) overly dramatized.
3) Characters aren't deeply connected to the plot, felt like they were added for the sake of the drama.
4) forced plot conveniences.
I rated the drama 8.5/10 purely because of the trauma cleaning stories, the emotions it invoked in me and the acting of the main leads.
It's still early to rate hl but you can check me once the drama ends airing.
