It's sad to say, but it really takes a long time. Shin has to get over the current scandal first (it's been about 2 months already, and there's still no clear happy ending in sight. It would be nice if this was over before SAL aired). Then he has to start filming AJTG and finish it. As for Ding, his drama ETYH hasn't finished filming yet. I think he'll probably start filming A beautiful destiny, that's still a rumor. After all of this, there has to be someone (a director, a screenwriter, or anyone who can decide the cast of a drama) who is willing to give Dingxin a good drama again. Then they both have to agree to star in that drama. Even if everything goes well and they work together again and finish filming a drama, we'll have to wait at least a year for it to air. That means we'll have to wait until at least 2028 (for this dream to come true).
