Same. 1 Chinese actress and 1 Korean actress -- both of whom couldn't act if they were about to be shot in the head for failing. So my aversion has nothing to do with looks, but lack of talent.

Like you, I just avoid their dramas like the plague (hurts like hell when your favorite ever Korean actor is in a new series with the Korean actress, but the woman is the star so the show is impossible to watch -- aaaarggghhhh :)

But, I sure as hell am not all over social media whining about them :) Life's too short and I'm not pathetic. :)

He's actually a very good actor. Even if his character is despicable. 😆

Same. When I go back to the U S., everything is available. But as soon as I set foot back in Europe, dramas disappear from my list. Even tho I'm often paying more than I do in the U.S.

iQIYI is the worst tho, AND the most expensive platform. Not worth the money IMO.

If you're in Europe, it's only available on Linmon Pictures YouTube channel -- and they are SIX episodes behind iQIYI.

Hence, why I just canceled my iQIYI subscription. People are paying for dramas like this, then iQIYI/Linmon decides we don't get them here.

What's weird to me is that f*cked up bitches like you (and yep, trolls like you are always female) always go after the actress but never the actor.

I'd say it's jealousy, but it's more than that. It's the sick, twisted personality of a person who would rather attack other women for doing what they love to do and are good at, than work to better yourself.

It shows a hatred of self, and a desperation to hurt others because of it.

There are too many people like you in the C-drama sphere. And you're poison.

So -- Go away and put your life to better use. It's finite. And, on your death bed, do you really want to be left with "Yeah, I spent all that time trying to destroy some Chinese actress's life. Yay me!" -- because, if so, I feel sorry for you.

And btw, while I am still struggling to like this drama after Episode 2 (although the writing is extremely clever), Li Yi Tong is doing a phenomenal job in the role with even the first few minutes of Episode 1 proving how incredibly talented she is.

Maybe use her as a role model to make your own life better, instead of wasting your time trying to destroy someone else's.

I did just watch the last 10 minutes of Episode 1 and admit I DID laugh several times as she navigated death after death after death (and Li Yi Tong is doing a brilliant job in the role).

Am just about to soldier through Ep2 and see if I start enjoying it. (Just HATE dropping an LYN drama, as he's one of my Top 3 of all time :)

Is it worth it after Ep 3? I couldn't even get passed minute 33 of Ep 1 it's SO bad. Hugely disappointed as I love everything LYN does, but this is making me want to poke needles in my eyes :)

(And I wouldn't skip episodes as there's no point, but would only keep watching if it actually becomes worth it -- and btw, slapstick is NOT my thing :)

Same. Worst thing I've watched in years. Not funny, not interesting, not holding my attention at all. Such an easy drop.

Disappointing. First Liu Yu Ning drama I've ever dropped.

Obviously not my cup of tea -- 18 minutes into episode 1 and already fast forwarding as I was falling asleep. Not my sense of humor (hate over the top/slapstick comedy), hate everything about this. 40 EPISODES of this? Nah.

Ah well, one less drama I have to cram into my already tight schedule :)

Hahahaha -- used to be a lefty until I realized many of them had gone batshit crazy, swallowed the Kool Aid and were now kowtowing to men cosplaying as women while destroying actual gay rights and women's rights. NO time for it :)

I actually love The Prisoner of Beauty (haven't finished it yet, but about 25 episodes in). But, I may feel differently if I'd read the novel. :)

And I think that's why some dramas do well internationally, because the novel that particular drama is based on isn't readily available outside China. While the Chinese fans, who HAVE read the novel, are so angry they could kill :)

It's not BL. It's omegaverse. A HUGE difference, and really freaking creepy.

The left has been trying to redefine the meaning of 'man' for years. Most of them can't even tell you what a woman is. Hence, why some people insist on calling pregnant women 'pregnant people'. and why we now have men destroying women's sports.

It's the height of stupidity, and Omegaverse just feeds into the bullshit. A genre I avoid like the plague. As, obviously, do most other people not completely brainwashed by the extremist left as their manga, anime/dramas rarely do well.

It's the dumbest genre ever. I avoid anything Omegaverse. Gives me the creeps. A shame as, like you, I'm a huge BL fan but won't be watching this.
