Remember this drama was hated from the start. Haters would come here every week and start shit. Some of those…
It's not remotely important what these fools think/do anyway. The drama just won 3 acting awards at the MBC Drama Awards, and main leads got 'Best Couple'. It also ended on very high ratings this weekend, and it's still on the Netflix Top 10 for its 6th week and likely its 7th when the new Netflix data comes out on Tuesday.
It's a big success for the network, the writer, the actors and the crew. Let the pro-Hamas loonies downrate it. They're just wasting their time :)
Very happy to see 3 of the 4 main leads grabbing MBC drama awards, and Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin being given Best Couple. Well deserved.
And overall, really enjoying this (still have 2 eps to watch). Decently written, suspenseful, the acting is great and I like all the leads. What's not to like? :)
Well because it had palistima and izameal name that's why the comment section has turned differently because the…
NOBODY cares about this, (it's a NON story and not even remotely related to Israel being attacked by Hamas), except the pro-Hamas loonies looking for "offense" in everything they watch.
Same thing with Your Honor, the same idiots downrating it because the original story was written by an Israeli.
Just finished Ep 6. This is sooooooo good. One of the most entertaining C-dramas I've watched in a while, and really liking Dylan Wang in the main role. So fun!
2 episodes released on VIki today. I wonder if they release later than other platforms because they purchased…
I have WeTV VIP and there are 7 episodes available. I don't watch English dub though, only original Chinese. It's the English dub that only has 3 episodes :)
Got confused like you though earlier today, and started watching Ep 2 in, what I thought was the original Chinese, then thought "Wait a minute, I don't remember the first Ep being in English?" :) -- Yep, there's also an English dub.
I’m shocked, why is this drama’s rating so low? I actually love every episode
An 8 or above is really good for THIS site -- I agree with you, it should be higher but many people on here are quite stingy with their ratings. So far, I'm giving it an 8.5 after Ep 2 but that's likely to rise if it continues to be this much fun.
First 3 episodes are free, then you need a VIP subscription, but it's super cheap. I paid $48 for a year, and it's even cheaper outside the U.S., or so I'm told.
imo he's good in those kind of stoic/badass roles like DFQC but this one.. his acting is really cringey and over-acted.
Yep. The whole cast seems to me to be 'over acting', but that is pretty normal in a lot of Chinese comedy I find -- it's generally a lot more slapstick and over-the-top than much western comedy, so I'm not finding it 'cringey' at all. Just 'typically Chinese'.
Lived in Thailand for many years, and Thai comedies are the same -- seem overly acted until you get used to the vibe. Then it just seems normal.
I also didn’t get the hype before however watching him in variety shows I finally understand. I think it’s…
I'm hoping I begin to like him more as there's definitely a lot of hype surrounding him. Will keep my mind open as Guardians of the Dafeng continues. He's great in this part so far, tho.
Hadn't read the premise, so just thought this was a typical historical piece with humor. First episode though threw that idea for a loop :)
This is excellent. Unusual, great writing and performances, and nice cinematography.
Can't say I understand the obsession with Dylan Wang, as he's an average looking Asian guy and averagely talented (so far, at least, and maybe my opinion of that will change), but truly enjoyed the first episode of this and looking forward to the rest.
Rarely rewatch a drama, but just watched this for the 2nd time, and it really does hold up for a second viewing. Thought it was genuinely funny and cute the first time through. Loved it even more the second time. Excellent.

Any recommendations on variety shows?
You can also watch via laptop/computer if you want a bigger screen.
