That’s not valid to me. Chet is the least remorseful out of all three of them, and is an exact mirror image of his father and mother combined. From the drinking, to the misogyny, even the abuse everything that drives him and his actions is his parents. The only reason he mentions them being mistresses children is because he knows it hurts them, makes them feel beneath him, and somehow makes him feel he is the only rightful one to the company.

Even if it was about revenge, what revenge? Pheem’s mother is dead, Risa’s mother isn’t even involved with that man or his business so what does Chet gain? the only ones who deserve to get their payback for me is Risa and Pheem. He has had everything handed to him undeservingly so I don’t understand him nor feel sorry for him 🤷‍♀️

Chet and his mother have been specifically tormenting Pheem since he was a child and from what we have seen he hasn’t treated Risa nearly as bad he just belittles and invalidates her. The only time he treated her nearly as bad as Pheem is when he thought she was siding with him. He wants Pheem to be left all alone, feeling isolated, or what he rather prefers dead. His behaviour doesn’t come from some sort of ‘vengeance’ it comes from the favouritism and entitlement that his mother and father both have gave him since he was young thinking cause he is the oldest he deserves everything. I don’t feel bad for that man whatsoever, if he can dish the worst to Pheem he can eat whatever is thrown back at him.

sorry, but that literally does not makes sense… a conversation about literally sleeping together happened not even long before that scene occured, so we know very well and clearly neither pheem or than have some sort of internalized homophobia or simply believe they are straight so I do not get this take whatsoever.

Never said it made your point invalid? I’m stating by context pheem was talking about/asking for a drug that would increase sex drive, but clearly the screenwriter was not well informed of cause and affect of different types of drugs. That’s obviously not an excuse since they could of done better research (although I’m not sure how well informed certain countries are on drugs and their affects) but I’m taking from the context of the scene and what proceeded after that pheem was clearly out of it from whatever they gave him.

well pheem does say “the engine hasn’t started” and also “got anything to help with it” so idk if we can assume if that was for sure fentanyl or not (could also have been a misinterpretation of the affects of it if so by the screenwriter) but what’s certain is he was completely out of it and was not in his right state of mind.

Do you really think they would copy how someone walks? There is literally no scene where he was tending to his wound, at least not in the first episode so idk where you seen that. All the scenes you mention happen with completely different context at completely different times. Relatively speaking, you are comparing two shows that both fall into the same theme/category of a Heir X Bodyguard. Did you really think you aren’t bound to find some similarities in scenes/ideas? that does not mean one is intentionally copying the other. The more you look at any other shows, movies, or books with a similar plot premise to another’s the more you will realize how little entirely unique scenes/ideas one can come up with.

I made an account cause I agree with this comment, but I’m pretty sure only the blood was an inconsistence so I wanna help clear up the name conversation. Pheem gave his business card to Than and it has his nickname (Pheem) on it, that’s how he knows Than knows his name. Pheem meant he doesn’t know his nickname (Than) not his full Thai government name, since bank transactions only include one’s government name, hence why we don’t hear him read out (Than). This is probably confusing because we are foreigns so somethings get lost in translation 😭 but the blood disappearing is entirely on the editors with that one idek how they didn’t notice that, but I hope such obvious editing mistakes won’t be reoccurring.
