I'm sorry but as much as I love the complexity of the Ikuta's character, they just made a huge fool out of Matsuyuki's beliefs. The ending scene was perfect, but the ending itself wasn't. They broke everything her character stood for. I get that they wanted to humans won't necessarily change. But they shot down her motivation just to portray Ikuta's character as a damn tragic hero. They looked down too much on the psychological community in this movie. 0 on this aspect. 10 for Matsuyuki and Toma's acting. 7 on anything else.

This movie made psychology seem like a farce. Which it is not. It made a fool out of Matsuyuki's character, by just using her psychiatrist credentials as a way for a criminal to escape. It was an extremist way but I think they could've treaded more carefully ☹️

Btw, I never asked. U watched the special? If you hadn't, it focuses a bit more on Kunikida and how he came into play. In S2, it's as if he appeared out of thin air. True but Kunikida is more in-action in the SP

Yeah, he was so precious, getting flustered at Kunikida doing anything with Yashiro. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at first seeing Ex-Aid as Okabe's subordinate.
