Loved the dynamics between two MLs. The acting was also heartfelt . π₯° But the lack of romantic progression in second half and rushed finale kind of downed it .β οΈ The MLs look really nice together . Taichi is loud but humble . Loved him . Kohei is really soft and loveable as well . π A little more venture into their love dynamics would have made this a perfect jbl . Thereβre 12 eps, they could have done it easily.π
Why in Thai bls school going students have to do it all ?! Fight criminals , earn money for the house , play a certain game and be the best in it , change their parents mentality but never studying .
One of the best melodramatic kdramas out there. It was so good. β¨ The chemistry. The build-up. The tension. Beautiful throughout. So mature. Loved the ML. Loved the best friend of FL too. The brother's character was also well thought out. β€οΈ Yes it was slow paced but each episode actually has a story. Once you start the episode,it engages you.π« I'll recommend it to all those people who found My liberation notes mind-blowingπ―.
Like a boiled chicken without seasoning. SamYo's chemistry is the only salt in it.
I don't remember if MosBank had any chemistry in Big dragon or not but here they have zero. They're just reading lines.
There are scenes where Bank is trying to look cute and overtly innocent , God those are unbearable. Those expressions neither suit him nor he's capable of pulling it off.
Summary is , π π π :: The first 2-3 episodes - snoozefest - Last 2 episodes .
Now, 10 eps of this was absolutely not needed.
When I started this one I thought Fort's acting hasn't improved much since Lita. But he surprised me in the finale episodes where as Peat's acting felt consistently same throughout. I also don't understand who was the stylist for him, who gave him those horrible pants ππ€
The GL storyline was so lame and unnecessary and evidently irritating. They only bought the drama time, and added nothing else..
Tbh I feel this show didn't do proper justice to this pairing, they had so much to offer but it felt flat. π
This show is so consistent........... In DISAPPOINTING me. π€‘π₯²
Idk how I'll suffer through the rest of the episodes coming so for moral support I went to re-watch kieta hatsukoi..... And I can't believe they made such a mess of that show......like this. π«’
Unpopular opinion may be but Aoki's goofiness was so damn adorable in the Japanese version, but Atom's character is borderline irritating here......π€
Maybe I'm watching it in 2024 or maybe I have experienced far better and well made bl dramas by now, I find this one so cringey and skipp able....π
I'm on ep 15 and I fast forwarded so much and looks like I'll maintain that streak too because the story is not cohesive at all in places, might be the reason why it's so boring to watch.π«₯
The casting of this show has been impeccable. I loved Dr Kao 's character. π« The script was subpar though. Overall I'd love LOVE to see Great Inn in a crime thriller angsty pining over each other type of a story...I think they'll nail it. β¨π
I'm on ep 3 and I can't believe I finally watched a Japanese bl where they clear communicate their feelings this fast π... usually with JBLs there's so much tense pining moments and misunderstandings, and things almost never get cleared till the last episode. So it was a welcoming change. π«±π½βπ«²πΌ
That female lead is not it.... She's sassy and hot and cute as well but she's absolutely not considerate at all. That misunderstanding situation was so lame.
This is the best series coming from this pair and I was happy that it only had 8 eps. But I still can't seem to enjoy Frank's acting tbh. It was an okay watch, I finished it because I just wanted to get it over with. ππ«’
This series is so darn cute and all fluffy π....
Even though there's no extreme high and lows in the storyline, it's not boring at all just a tad bit lengthy. It could have easily been fitted into a 12 episode series....β¨
But I really enjoyed just how it's very much consistent with the good vibes like a funny sitcom of a bunch of university students. Really quality content in it's own genre.π§Ώ
Can't believe this guy died again π€¨π Looks like he's allergic to life. Well I'd be too if I had to deal with these two men (Tong π«±π½βπ«²πΌ Ming)
Half baked and bland mess! Felt like I was watching a semester project done by the students who also are acting in it . Why are we still doing these kind of BLs?! There's no saving chemistry between the MLs.
I'm so surprised at how unhinged the main couple was.... It was a well executed welcoming change for me. I have never seen a bl where both of the MCs are confused like this π€£.....
Also I feel this show is a balance between two types of storytelling...
β The MCs story is very kdrama- ish, means 2 MCs who kind of fall for each other on first sight, innocent looking, a female character stirs up the drama, realisation dawns and gets their happily ever after.π₯°
β. The side story is more of a realistic one, where only mutual feelings don't suffice to hold a relationship, it's not dreamy, all well thing. You have to grind your ass everyday and even then success is not a sure thing. But if you both have feelings for each other and want to be better for your partner, want to work on yourself for them and have patience and try, you can beat your luck in the game. β€οΈ
I feel all the actors brought justice to their scenes. It was a very different watch from the very similar storylines we're getting from the BLs of now. I'm surprised that it came from a kbl. π«‘

And poom is gorgeous π
This is going so fast paced that there're no actual scenes where the romance could have been built up this fast β©.... In 1 st episode Atom is pining over the girl, in 2 nd he's already liking Kongthap.... And there're still 10 more episodes to go......
