Cringe fest from start to end. I had to pause every 5 min because it was so weird to see a guy kissing a whole ass robot who's just all metal and screws and held together with engineering. π€
And moreover involving in a relationship with it and then emotions are at play. ?!Like how the hell all of these work together.?! How does humanoid emotions are working in a robot?! π None of it made sense. Make it make sense.π
Also every single time the robot had some malfunctioning his lips turn pale to showcase that it's ill π€‘π€‘π€‘ I mean...... Was it necessary?!
Also there's no need to make it 10 ep long. There are so many flashbacks, they could have easily made it into 20 min & 5/6 ep long because there's no story. Nothing. You're just supposed to get it, whatever that means. .... Nice plot but horrible execution. Really sloppy coming from Taiwan BLs.
Short sweet well defined story. This is what I atleast expect from a decent bl. The acting is good, the chemistry palpable. Not much of a complex story but it's done artistically. I am loving how it's not unnecessary dragging, and just of 8 episodes. Precise and perfect. β€οΈ
Barcode probably ate quite a lot of actors careers with just one episode , that's the finale.π€πΌ
I definitely didn't expect a psychological thriller BL from Thailand and moreover THIS good. This to me is a very traditional horror setting but it's done with brilliance. Every single actor had given 110% in it.π«ΆπΌ
I liked the open interpretation ending because it really gives you time to think what might have happened. It lets you use your brain. Either way you need alone time tbh after the WTF finale because it was chaos everywhere. A good one tho. Teases your brain so much. π
I am happy that the story feels so real and refreshing. From the start it was teased that there'll be no happy ending. So Non's death was expected. To show how brutal one's life can turn out to be if someone chooses wrong friends, wrong motto, wrong actions one after another. They finalized the brutality even more by killing White. Unfortunately, that's real life. π
I loved everything about this, this is a new type of bl, it's an excellent example in the genre itself.β€οΈ
The current of chemistry between Jimmy and Sea is so goddamn natural. π«ΆπΌ
That enhanced the beauty of this series 100 times more. The way they touch, hold, look and smile at each other is chef's kissπ€πΌ π
I was holding off this series for so long mostly because most of the bl series of Thailand suffers the flow of the storytelling, things get extremely repeating...and after a while it gets cringey but NOT THIS ONE. π
Everything was so perfect, the casting, the music, the cameraworks, lighting ,the direction π₯°π«°πΌ
When it comes to bl universe, this series is a masterpiece π
Need to know what psychedelic drug the writer used before writing this batshit crazy stuff π€‘... It just kept getting progressively crazier....htf both the main characters went full 180 within the 1st to the 9 th ep π€‘this is some crazy story pull up I have seen in bls, specifically in thai BLs ποΈποΈ...
I really like flukes acting tho , it just feels natural like whatever character he plays, he becomes fluid with it. But honestly no redeemable character in this drama except for Qatar maybe. I was sympathetic towards Khun but not anymore.
Also till 9 th ep I was thinking the child was also a part of hallucinations, which 5 year old sleeps through that much sound, shouting,fights.... π
When will we get ep 10 , this watch was really something but I really want the finale, I want even crazier stuff π€‘πΈ
The writer of the story probably forgot what plot he was writing as he thought we'd also forget the confession scene between nekoto and sahara, hence every episode had a flashback of the same in the rain scene.π The backstory of Sahara had so many flashbacks,it got really boring in the end. It's not the worst JBL but it had a lot of potential. Specially toki s character was so unique, they could have played with it more. ποΈ
Binge watched it to Ep 7 and waiting for the finale. To be able to see a character like Toki in JBL is so refreshing. Usually JBL characters are shrouded in mystery, reserved, keeping to themselves type... This show and basically Toki's childish attitude lowkey reminds me of Yechan from Love Tractor...and I adore them both. β€οΈπ«
They put multiple story tropes in one and called it a day !
Confused ML β Another ML suddenly disappears β Accidental meeting and rekindling their friendship β A third friend who comes in between and causes misunderstanding β The friend who even after being with him for so long didnβt clear their relationship/friendship status till they meet another ML again β A beach getaway β The older brother of confused ML shows liking towards another ML β And one ML who is supposed to be the best friend of another since CHILDHOOD didnβt even know how his older brother looked β
At this point Iβm just happy that itβs only 6 ep. And itβs ending.
Apart from the nonsensical switching positions, this was a decent watch. The plot even though is super flawed and seems like written by an amateur , it works because of everything else. ποΈποΈ
First, it's a sports oriented BL where they actually PLAY. It was so refreshing to watch that the volleyball and jujutsu both were given importance heavily. π₯π
Second, the chemistry between MLs and side couples worked pretty good. I felt Ryan/First had very limited expressions compared to Sprite/Frame but it works because Sprite had overly exaggerated expressions. They balanced out each other. I found Jack and Mike to be the hottest couple amongst them, their chemistry was also the most natural. ππ
Third, the supporting cast actually supports the whole story. The cast is phenomenal as everyone delivered what was expected of them. Can't think about the story without the participation of them all. π«
Finally, Both brothers learnt each other's games so easily and no one batted an eye... Precisely the coaches?! They're playing their individual games since childhood, how did they learn it so fast?! π
I hated that they carried the lie till the last episode. First deserved to know it much earlier. There're so many opportunities Sprite got to tell him but he didn't. It's just weird to think that you're attracted to someone and doing things with them without knowing that it's actually not them. That's manipulative. π
Tbh the story doesn't make any sense, true. If it gets criticism because of that then they deserve it. But it somehow has that old thai BL feel to it .. probably that's why irrespective of an absolute shitty ass plot, it works much better than some of the recent bls that aired. I'll miss the guys, i hope they get a better plot next time. ππ€πΌ
My god this is such a disappointment of a show. Yes it's slightly slow paced but that's not the real problem. It doesn't have enough substance to carry in each episode, nothing that engages you. The writer ML talks to himself more than with others. The scenes just feel so repetitive. I binge watched it and that too speeding through most of the scenes in later episodes.
Wasn't it that they were connected by the girl telling the story. In the bar the two protagonists of the two relationships…
I personally don't think a connection between them was necessary. All three stories are happening simultaneously without crossing over each other. The brief moment where all three of them come together acts like a focal point and then they diverge into their own. All three of them have tumultuous personal lives already, crossing over each one of them would make this short story even more complicated.
There're reviews here that say they didn't understand how both the stories are connected. There're no connection between them. All of them depicts different stories of different people in different real relationships. A lot of people found a certain main characters intention morally gray but isn't that real?! Why do main characters have to be only b&w.? This was a really good watch. It's short but for me I didn't feel that. I understood everything within the time frame. Maybe that's why it has such divisive reactions.
I couldn't sit through this pairing in Ai long nhai but atleast here they're watchable. This show is good for a binge watch imo. Meen is decent but the ML chemistry is lackluster.
A masterpiece and one of a kind piece of art is what this drama is. At times it feels slow but you can't skip through the scenes at all. The dialogues are one of the best written ones and the actors show some masterclass talent here. Phenomenal watch and highly recommended. My personal favourite character is of the brother Chang hee. Every single time that man has sat down in a friend circle, he had only served noteworthy dialogues to remember. I loved loved loved it. β€οΈ
This was a gorgeous watch. Visually, sonically, emotionally and storywise too. I was slightly suffering through first few episodes but later on it got so good. The lead MLs are phenomenal and supporting casts are chef's kiss. The execution of everything is cinematic. One of the best Thai Bls for sure in it's history. β€οΈ
This was such a good and refreshing watch. This had more of a mainstream kdrama vibe than a kbl. The story is nothing new but it's compact. There's little miscommunication that builds up the angst but it's resolved quickly. It's good for a binge watch. The actors also justified their roles specially the one playing Lee Do Hyun.

Absolutely didn't expect this level of intricacies from a kbl. The actors are fantastic, their expressions, the acting , the storytelling, camera work. π
Also such a fresh concept.!
Though the changes in the timeline and the game situation sometimes get overwhelming and confusing but all in all kudos to the team for trying something new... π«
I haven't been this happy after watching a kbl since a long time.... I wanted more episodes...β€οΈ
I am so happy that they're introducing deeper and layered storytelling in BLs now , like To my star,The eighth sense and this one now. π©΅
Side note - Actor playing Cha yeo woon reminded me of TXT Soobin so much..... And Tae myung ha's actor of Mix of EarthMix πΈ
