Title W
W's meta can only exist via drama, no other form. If this drama was a webtoon, it would be a webtoon character…
I am having an existential crisis! Please would Kang Chul jump out of my TV

I have a question! Since W is written by her father, it's a product of her father's mind. Since both( the female…

This drama absolutely leaves me glued to the TV for a marathon. It is amazingly addictive and good. It has characters that develops and gives a mature profound growth of life and love that is like no other. The message is so positive of forgiveness, truth and endurance that isn't typical of most drama. I am bias about noona romance (since I was in one for 7 years), but truly this one is the one that slay them all. Although at first it is a little weird since LJS character is in high school (noonas shouldn't really get them till they are done college LOL), but the story is riveting. All the actors did a fantastic job! I'll be hard pressed to find another drama I enjoy as much as this one. This was my first drama watching LJS and gosh does that boy amaze me with his acting skills. I saw Pinnochio after this but still find this drama better written with more elements that makes it a thrill to watch.

Is it just me whose starting to question their own reality? This show's going to give me an existential crisis.
Like Shakespeare said: "we're all players and the world's a stage." Our whole existence is but a mere fiction of the imagination. Without the fiction and narrative no one exists. Narrative comes from memories and imagined future, without it the world ceases. All the rules of reality is but imagination. Ha! Now you can find a Zendo and start questioning reality! Welcome to the matrix *erie music*

I don't know what to say tbh this ep was so shocking as well and the drama is moving too fast that I don't know…
I don't see Kang Chul awakening to his unreality of the comic book world as a punishment but a blessing. In fact this twist in the plot is very Zen. His comic book life was filled with anxiety of being assinated at anytime without rational narrative at all. He sleeps with a gun under his pillow...that says it all. No matter how much money or luxury one has, if he is constantly in fear of being killed..that's not a good life. Whereas when he exits that the world, no one is trying to kill him (not yet anyway) and probably has people adoring him when they see him as the living comic book hero that they love. He still as a OYJ who cares about him and doesn't need to find the killer anymore since it's all fake. His slate has been wiped clean by the discovery of the illusion of his world and story, but he still has someone who cares about him. When you wake up and realizes all of your life and suffering was an illusion, that is actually a gift.

Does the whole him being in love with her seem rushed? They only met each other for a few days here and there.…
I don't know for some reason that SJY character works in Kdrama land but if I was treated like NE by someone who is after my affections I would run as far as possible. SJY showed NE that he is immature in his courtship, even when they were younger he resorts to teasing and blackmailing her into going out with him. The older SJY isn't any better, being blatantly in-your-face about trying to get her. I find his tactics self centered and isn't loving at all. Her brother is right by seing that JT is a better suitor. JT for all his faults was there for her in her ups and downs in life, he truly cares and is protective of her. JT still has his reservations and selfishness but it isn't as bad as SJY character at the moment.

It seems both brothers start their feelings for her with guilt, JT for what his father did to her and SJY for how mean he was to her before her father died and causing her car accident. In some ways SJY is screwing her over by trying to win her affections because she will be devasted when he dies. At least JT genuinely has a chance of really taking care of her in the long haul. Either way they are both being dishonest to her by hiding the truth, being the son of the prosecutor who wronged her who hid the real culprit that caused her father's death.

Wow... How did Kang Chul just walked into the real world?
I have a feeling it would be hard to come up with something as fast pace and unexpected as what we seen so far, but I can be wrong. Just here hoping that it doesn't turn into another cheesy love story where she saves him and tries to intergrate him into her world.

Wow... How did Kang Chul just walked into the real world?
It will likely be a rude awakening for Kang Chul whose whole life is just somebody's fiction for amusement of others and money making. To wake up and realize that nothing you ever felt or experienced was ever real....it is the end of his world. I don't know how well he can handle that. How can he live after that? Being out of the fiction that was his life? Maybe she is his only connection that made sense and his only salvation!

I concur, it seemed like a story of love just comes out of nowhere. Mostly fun and dramatic to watch their antics but the main male character is a real jerk. He knows he is dying, he just wants to possess her heart and fulfill his desires before he dies: to have someone who he yearns after with a crush and guilt over causing her pain. Both leads had a shallow teenager crush with each other at best before they met again. I do not see the mature adult love anywhere, well maybe with the Ji Tae toward Jun Eun on how he takes care of her.

This drama makes me laugh from the beginning to finish. A comical but realistic look at age difference in relationship.
