Can anyone please give spoiler who has read the novel..in which episode will miantang know that he is lord huaiyang…
The deed and her knowing - chapter 50-60 I think she recovers her memories much later. A commentator has said she becomes Lu Wen(I would imagine recovers all her memories) around chap 161.
Wait, she was pretending the whole time? they didn’t do the deed? , like in the book? what happened after the…
I read the spring scene. Here is what happened:
By the time of that scene, the ml has been deceiving the fl for almost 2 years. They are drinking wine at the spring, flirting and he is completely seduced by the fl’s smile, laugh and beauty. He gives in to his need to possess her so he proceeds to scoop her in his arms and runs to their tent and orders everyone not to enter and disturb them. They do the deed - more than once, and the two nights that folllow. He is a passionate man. He also finds out the truth about her v-card on their first night together (he is happy but does not comprehend since he still thinks that she is Lu Wen’s concubine).
Very shortly after the spring scene (maybe two or three days later), she finds out the truth: they are not married and the ml had been deceiving her. She is upset! The ml’s attitude was to tell her to get over it and for them to plan their future. He did not grovel. He got even upset when she left him without saying goodbye. He can’t go after her because of the war, but he is mad, upset and sad. He sent his spies to monitor her every move. He is in a foul mood and misses her like crazy. When he is able to leave and can no longer take the separation, he goes after her with mariage on his mind. He is shameless and tries to seduce her every change he gets. The fl gives in to passion. The deed is done again and again.
I haven’t finished the novel. I am at the part where the ml shows up in front of the fl. He is disturbing her life with his unpredictable and crazy antics and seduction.
She finds out the truth about the ml and his identity around chap 50-60 but she doesn’t have her memories. She finds out her identity as the bandit’s leader much much later. Others in the comment section have said around chap 161.
Is it possible to share the title of the romance novel? Sounds interesting! Thank u
It was so long ago, I can’t remember the name of the novel. I will try to find the title and back to you if I find it. I may also have confused plots of various novels. I have read so many historical romance novels! Some of them are gems!
Am I the only one who barely felt any angst when the truth was revealed (that the ml was not her husband and that…
What??? So many chapters considering she finds out the truth about the ml and his identity around chapter 50. What is happening from chapter 50 to 161!
Based on what the ml know (and not us as viewers): his enemy is Lu Wen. He only knows the fl as Lu Wen’s favorite…
No clue because I haven’t finished the novel. I only read a few chapters when the ml’s deception and real identity are revealed. I haven’t gotten to the part where she remembers her time with the bandit. I am inclined to think that the arrow may be her or the other girl that holds a grudge against her. Time will telll
The plot of this drama reminds me of a historical romance novel (medieval times) that I read a few years ago: ml pretends to be married to the fl while she is suffering from amnesia. In reality, he is taking revenge against her or possibly her brother or a member of her family (can’t remember the details); he even takes her v-card and completely ruins her reputation in the process. She finds out the truth on the day of his wedding or engagement party to another woman — it was all part of his plan, except he had by then falling in love with her (but still went along with his plan). I don’t remember if he did marry the other woman but the fl’s logic and actions afterwards were so frustrating that I almost threw the book in the garbage.
