In thailand they have full official names and a nickname, This nickname is because it's shorter and easier to remember. The nickname is given to them by birth by their parents and can be english names (like the one you mentioned), a shorter version of their official name for example Win is short for Metawin (2gether the series) or Yo is short for Wayo (2 moons the series) or just a given nickname like Bas (SBFIVE) who's full name is Suradej Pinnirat. This series was a masterpiece but so sad that they didn't get any award for it. I so wanted them to get either a best series award or best couple award!
