Such a clumsy attempt at dealing with sexual assault themes. Sometimes I want to give it props for even trying, but it was honestly just so terrible. It honestly just seemed like more and more trauma-porn for the MC when I really feel like there wasn't a need for it.
I think the show should have picked one trauma and done it well instead of trying to layer it and doing 2/3 terribly. I don't speak for everyone, but as a survivor I am not a fan.
Where the series did shine was Jade and Uea's friendship. I watched both this and middleman's love, and I could have honestly just watched a show about the way they care for each other with the romances as the side story. They were so sweet.
This reaction ep and the subsequent actor apologies are telling me that the show probably won't be treating the end of ep.5 like it's an SA scene when it was.
I didn't have high hopes that it would, but it's disappointing nonetheless.
My comfort series. The ads are aggressive, but it doesn't bother me. I live for JimmySea and the non-sexual intimacy throughout the entire show.
This was one of the first BLs I watched when I started back in Feb. It was kind of confusing because I couldn't appreciate all the cameos, but on a rewatch it was so fun actually.
I always give over the top shows some time to mellow out, because I find that they will after about 3 episodes and it was the same for this one. After that period passed, the campiness was much more tolerable. I was mostly interested in seeing Earth play a character that wasn't stoic. And he did a great job doing what he was asked in this series. I'm glad I gave it a shot.
It's the last three episodes where it was just too much. Idc if that's the point, I just couldn't deal with it anymore. I wanted someone better to come along for Heng that Heng actually wanted because Mo pmo.
Kudos to Drake's cameo, because it literally gave me enough joy to ignore the trash fire that was ep 10-12
I never really gave Michael a second thought before the second episode. He was so cutie patootie though that North has won me over completely. I'm even more excited for NorthSonic this season now.
Can anyone spoil this supposed sad ending for me under a spoiler tag? Normally I'd just read the novel, but my lineup is so long.
Also Charliiiie, stop making decisions for everyone by yourself.

How are we this far into the series and the overarching plot still feels like it's nowhere.
At least I know Pavel will serve. He always does.
No I am not accepting criticism.
Also the real star of this show is Joe and his Mom's relationship.

They were my standard for chemistry for a bit.
