I'm going to speculate about the lack of chemistry here, in addition to the poor writing, perhaps the difficult time in the private life that the actress went through while still filming the drama may have had an influence, even on the writer.
There are some really crazy people out there and the media loves to explore these topics too. I imagine that with the end of her relationship, they wanted to avoid comments like: it was because of this or that reason.
It must have been very difficult for her to balance work and the chaos of her private life.

Finally, the end came and my friend told me that the bracelets actually suffered the same fate as Jay#1, they simply disappeared.

But then our beloved writer, after a night of alcohol (according to our friend BT), decided that all suffering is little and that JH should shine, even though he is bad, because in the end he would end up shining by being superior and giving up fatherhood, that I never wanted.
I say again, nothing against the actor, who did an excellent work (it's not easy to be hated, especially in today's crazy world).

The writer totally ignored what it means to be a woman nowadays.
And he destroyed a strong character (YD) and a loving mother (IO), turning the first into passive and the second into crazy. This is a few examples. The women in the second part of the drama stopped reasoning and acting on their own. Always needing a man to guide them. Even the villain SJ who initially became JH's assistant in his evil deeds.

I discovered watching the last few episodes how cool the older brother's character is. His reactions to the writer's nosense situations are the best. And I know he didn't give it an easy life
TK in his youth perhaps for fear of losing his place in the company, as TK is said to be a genius. But he always acted like an older brother. He deserves to have the child he so desires, whether by adoption, artificial insemination or by the grace of God.

I think it's like that since those who drank act differently (she should have thrown the rest away as soon as she realized the boss had drunk the potion). 🤦‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

And I don't even need to mention the guy with the flowers, you can tell he's the obsessive type, he saw her kindness as interest and that was enhanced by the potion.😬😬😬😬

But all this supposition may come to nothing.
What we know is that ML and FL have a love problem in their past lives, and I won't be surprised if SML and SFL are involved in their tragic end.

And this plot of everyone connected by the potion has to end soon. Not because it is not "true love" between the leads, it is because it is morally questionable for someone to impose unwanted feelings on another person, just to satisfy their own interests. And this confuses those involved, preventing them from understanding the real feelings they may have for each other.
By the way I think that both JBA and RW manage to show that they really believe that everything is caused by the potion. I'm really enjoying both of their performances.

In a drama with 16 EPs, ep#10 is usually where everything starts well and ends with a Twist plot where the leaders end up breaking up. Every time EP 10 arrives, I prepare the tranquilizer, because I know I'm going to stress me. There were rare dramas where this didn't happen, so it's usually on the previous or subsequent EP.

I read all the comments for today's episode and I have nothing more to add. I just have to agree with everything.
We've been making the same complaints for weeks now, and we are a little naive or hopeful, because whenever we had a small improvement we thought that we would finally have back the drama that we loved so much in the beginning.
The main plot ceased to exist around ep 32. When JH's discovery of Haneul's paternity, the drama became about JH and his schemes to get custody of his daughter and make life hell for the - until then - leaders.
Going through all the craziness of characters who were good one day and bad the next moment, to then be kind again if the day was good.

I'm not even talking about the bizarre relationship of the airheads, I've already said how much the story of these characters had no relevance to the rest of the drama. They can end (as they ended) today, which makes no difference. It will not affect any family, nor the other characters. No one will be surprised, no one will notice, unless the SK tells. Since no one in either family perceives them happy or sad, the writer forgot to give them emotions. It started with nothing and it looks like it's going to end nowhere.

Anyway, everything that was good about this drama was gradually replaced by the plot of JH and only JH:

Missing daughter? hmm is JH's mother
Adoption? poor JH

Nothing against the actor, who, by the way, did an excellent job, as he got the viewers' hate, and that shows how well he acted as JH. There were several scenes where I had to applaud his acting.
But that's not what we were told when the drama was released.
The story wasn't about an asshole who cheats on the heroine, gets her pregnant, dumps her and then tries to get her back.
It was about a woman and a man who come together through a lie to live their lives as they want and end up falling in love.

AJH, which in theory is ML, had the importance of his character being gradually diminished, to make way for JH. The actor gave the most of himself, in the emotional scenes, passing on credibility. But he was summed up to the poor thing. His biggest moment in the last 8 episodes was when he said he wanted his name removed from the family register and got drunk.

So it was with the character YD who, as everyone knows, suffered a lobotomy and lost her tenacity and courage and turned into a fearful little mouse with the thinking capacity of a 5-year-old child since she gave her daughter up to spend the night with her "father". who the day before was threatening to take custody of her daughter.

Anyway, 2 episodes to go.
Even though it's a happy ending, since no one doubts that, it will also be bitter for what could have been. What was sold to us and not delivered.

I think the fault lies with the director and the writer. Once at an Oscar ceremony they showed the difference between a scene according to the director's performance. I didn't think I could change so much.
The writer indicates how he sees the character's reactions to situations and the director says how he wants the actors to act and behave in the scenes. That's why we saw in the first phase a dynamic, strong YD and a professional who knew how to get her space, who little by little became a timid and fearful housewife who thinks that running away can solves her problems. (Perhaps the actress sees herself more as the first YD than the second, but that's just my opinion based on guesswork)
I know that some actors give their opinion on one or another aspect, but the final word is who directs the scene. So IMO if an actor/actress has a very good performance in one drama and a weak one in another, it certainly comes from the direction and the script.

Regarding the clothes, I have to agree, almost the entire cast suffered from poor wardrobe choices. We spent days complaining about TK's clothes, for a month he only wore knitted shirts. And what about Grandma's pants and vest sets? And SJ's mother?
Speaking of SJ, she went from being a chic secretary to a housewife who goes shopping for groceries with the first outfit she finds in the closet. Then finally returned to the executive secretary. It was even said that YD's mother dressed like Dora the Explorer. 😂
I'm afraid to say that even though it was a success with the audience, the production, direction and screenwriter were not as careful as they should be with the drama and the actors.😔
And much of the success is due to the first 25 episodes, where the leaders had a strong personality and there was fun, a coherent story that didn't fall into cliches.
I remember that many thought, including me, that the airhead couple was the relief of the tensions of the most difficult episodes. And now what are they?

From what I saw:
JH is not a biological grandson, but Eka apparently is. As someone pointed out on twitter if he was adopted by Strawberry he will be on the same family level as TK.
But it makes it easier for Granny to side with TK and YD, since he doesn't have the holy blood of the Gongs.
It remains to be seen when the truth will come out. If tomorrow or we will have 2 more eps with JH hiding and threatening half the world to keep the secret.

We still have the Hee, son and uncle plot and the not so important plot of the airhead couple, but I say that if they really break up it will be the biggest waste of characters I've ever seen in dramas. Unless their only purpose was to be the couple with the romance that only one person knew, which didn't influence anything. Not even to cause a problem with the return of his ex . What started as an interesting possibility of a girl torn between two identical guys will end as nothing.
