Is it really so bad? D: Lol some years ago I started watching "In time with you", the Taiwanese version,…
damn, i had to google what you wrote. i was like 'this may as well be Latin', and that's exactly what it was.
i understand what you meant, i'm just trying to say that you can't make a completely valid opinion on just 10 minutes. there's plenty of shows that i dropped after 15-30 minutes into the show that i later picked up again that i ended up loving.
if it's a matter of plot not suiting your tastes, then fair enough.
to each his own. and as always (i have to say this, well i don't have to but the shows too good) check out 'reply 1988'
if you want a summary, i can give it to you once i finish the series. it's quite good but it's too long. would have been better if it was 50-100 episodes. in terms of the story, it's got a decent plot that was stretched out too much. the amount of coincidences is unfathomable, but such is expected of a korean drama.
again, let me know if you want a summary.
I hesitated a lot before starting it, Now I am at 25ep, surprisingly I am addicted.
i'm on 84 now. it's kind of slow so I've been watching it at twice the speed; it seems quite eventful now. there's so many things that annoy me but the most consistent one is my hate for the Yoon family. their eldest daughter is a full blown manipulative bitch born solely to go to the depths of hell and make every good person around her suffer while she's at it.
"i never lie", and then she lies. they go out and it's the morning, they make it seem like they've been out for 10-20 minutes, but somehow it's dark outside. there's so much that doesn't add up in this show. and i'm sick of hearing "you better not_______, or i won't forgive you" and then not doing anything.
i don't know why i've come to like it though.
i seriously wanted to see that rapist get what was coming to him - why did they just leave it to my imagination?! i thought they were going to use him more. they could have shown him fighting back and conspiring with the director behind her back.
the show could have been so much more, but they wasted away plots. like when they randomly brought in that girl being abused, they just brought her in and then got rid of her without developing her story. i know she played a part in Do Do Hee's decisions so they should have put in a bit more of an effort in their history. seriously, for plots they should have hired some more competent people or picked up some pointers from other shows on character development.
still, it was a good show.
The first and second song she sang were really heartfelt! The way she treats them like a granny made me cringe and laugh; I could feel the awkwardness.
unique and interesting. though i'm wondering if he changes completely does that mean if he breaks a bone or falls a sleep when close to the verge of death he re-spawns with a perfectly able body?(lol, bad way to explain it!).
what happens if he's sick? does he just heal overnight? or if he gets STD's, does he lose it the next day? and does his blood type change?
So many pointless questions that i want answers to.
i'm going to start this some time in the near future because it sounds interesting but am put off by Wallace. i've not seen him in any dramas but have seen clips of his acting...it's not particularly good so i feel reluctant to watch this. hopefully he surpasses my expectations, that would be so awesome!
I haven't watched the drama yet but this was a great movie. The thought of losing someone so close is truely heart breaking and terrifying. Definitely worth watching.
I'm rewatching this after a while and MAN THIS DORAMA IS STILL THE BEST I JUST
i have angry mum on my list, it sounds hilarious. if you haven't watched many japanese dramas your missing out! they have a great selection and are more diverse in terms of plots than korean dramas.
for a school drama check out Nobuta wo produce, a beautifully directed show about an unusual friendship between students who would not normally associate with each other.
also check out adolescence medley; it's short and sweet so it's really enjoyable to watch.
signal is also a great recent korean drama that i recommend watching. it's more serious with interesting intricate plots.
ugly alert is another one that i adore, though it's insanely long (which i don't mind because it's great!). it's got a great cast of actors waiting to be discovered.
9 seconds eternal love is another short drama that's sweet and a quick watch. i would say more about it but it's so short that you could discover it yourself.
Carnation is another japanese gem. it's 151 episodes but is a morning 15 minute drama (so it's roughly equivalent to 50 episodes). it's got everything and more and takes you through the life of Koshino Ayako.
for the next drama, make sure you buy a box of tissues per episode; it lives up to its name; one litre of tears.
for something funny check out Kekkon Dekinai Otoko. it's not abundantly comedic but it's definitely enjoyable due to the awkward architect. a timeless classic. if you decide to watch any of them, i hope you enjoy them as much as i did!
