I take back what I said previously. If she has to think about death and killing and all that at 18 that's a shitload to bear what. Damn, I guess she and Chang An are competent because the venomous bugs came to them. Also first time Chang An has smiled??

Not sure how they got the information about Han Xiu, but they probably have an intel unit somewhere. I'm surprised she took the route of taking advantage of his past and using it against him. Since she didn't want to kill the doctor in the first place, why would she have the guts to be a past lover and not be hesitant about killing him? That aside, I thought the writing was well fleshed out in this episode. Instead of marking the target as a complete asshole, we see a side of him that is tender and vulnerable, and it makes you feel for him as a person. I guess her hesitancy was justifiable and without him killing himself, she never would've completed her mission. Also, the fact that he saw through her rouse was something I've never seen before, and it makes this show somewhat realistic in that way. Also felt when Han Yue found his brother's dead body :( Wait where was Chang An keeping that umbrella??

The premise seems interesting enough, and the female lead actress is good so far. Upon looking at the intro, this show seems like a high-budget show. Warning though, this show is not afraid of showing blood, so if you're queasy about that, probably best not to watch this, as what I've seen so far, it might show gore-y stuff.

Everything was conclusive and there was a lot of double-crossing between Xue Tang and the prince that made his death more satisfying. We also learn more information even at the end of the story.

Even though the prince tells her to go away and vents all his anger, Chu Chu still stands her ground and even gives him words of encouragement. He actually listens and takes her words to heart, and they have a heartfelt moment <3 (all in one episode!) I love how the characters know how to deal with stressful situations and carry them out realistically.

This is one of the reasons why I love this show, sometimes it's serious, sometimes it's lighthearted. The relationships are realistic and not overly dramatic, and they act like adults who deal with their problems in a mature way with words. Even though the prince knows Chu He likes Chu Chu romantically, he still allows her to visit her whenever he wants to and doesn't get mad at him.

Chu Chu and the Prince finally admit they like each other!! (I wonder how Chu He is going to take this,,) There's also some tea between Jing Yi and Leng Yue. They treated it as actual adults and no misunderstandings or anything, and they got right to the point. Arguably one of the best episodes in this series. The characters aren't all helpless and even the female leads use their brain in sticky situations.

Maybe the prince's father is the "Handsome Judge" and he was her mentor at the time, though we have no clue into her backstory other than she came from a family of coroners and was raised(?) in Pingle. The shade the mothers were throwing made me lol.

I love how the female lead is so oblivious to romantic things but is so serious with utmost sincerity when she says them, and that ending though,,,

Character dynamics seem quite interesting, and you can already tell who's the main love interest. Love that the main lead is oblivious but smart about the prince lmaoo--although I think the outro gives out a lot of plot details and foreshadowing but we'll see!

Lool that girl at the beginning taking that seat is literally me with my college's bus. Honestly the part where she hesitates to do anything is a fresh perspective on the other side. Just because they don't do anything doesn't mean that don't want to do something; they just are afraid of the consequences, and honestly, the internet is especially bad with these things that can make someone paranoid n shit. Real slick man lmfao. Wait so what about the delivery guy and the oil tank truck they had to avoid at the beginning? Is that just void now for some reason? ong their first actual proper sleep with no impending doom ahead of them yay!! The watermelons! The parents in the cosplays! The sphynx cat for the asthma! New scooter delivery guy! Bungee jumping! Paparazzi at the beach! The wreath at the grave! aw

The fact that Jiang doesn't even try to get healed up before he's heard news about Zhang shows that he really looks up to him and the emotions felt so real when he was crying in the bathroom. And the cinematography when they were panning to the hospital with the slow-mo built up that suspense that was needed there. In addition to when they focus in on Tao, the camera goes sideways ong ✨symbolism✨They both have conflicting stories; one says they did it and place the blame on themselves, which I found interesting. I don't exactly remember if Tao Ying Hong was a bit mental after Meng Meng's death or if she was stable before all this happened. It's kind of aww that she still defends him even though she isn't exactly in her right mind. Serious props to her actress because every single line caught me on edge, and her screams give me actual chills. I think we do have closure on most things but we still don't know exactly why they did it, but if they don't touch on it further, I'm going to assume it's because they wanted to see Meng Meng again.

The suspense is is so good in this show !! Those gears are turning man. With how many times they've been inside the police station, surely,, The PTSD with Canon and D is real. Also, are they faking this evidence too because why would she openly say critical information in front of them that should be somewhat confidential--makes me wonder hmmm..I might be overthinking though.

You know it gets serious when the outro starts playing in the middle of the episode,, the height difference is crazy though but awhh they 're in love <3 When the streamer guy was talking about the filming it was kind of ironic because they are filming for a show but in the story it's not a prank oh no- Okay so the driver was an accomplice but what is their history and why do they need a bomb and why are they sacrificing themselves?? Damn wait the driver was really nice though, what happened?? Top 10 anime betrayals right here. She was out to question him from the start dang.
