It's been a minute since I watched Shin Hae Sun ( I skipped Dear Hyeri) also wanted to see Kim Jae Won again after Hierchy..sigh (singing "Let it go, let it go")
I hadn’t seen Wallace Huo his 2015's "Love Me If You Dare", and honestly? The wait was absolutely worth it.,He still convinces you that he is not acting. And don’t even get me started on Zhu Zhu, my brand-new favorite FL, no debate..She oozes such aura of grace and class.. (cute dimples alert)..hats off Dr Gu
It feels like we’ve officially stepped into a new era of writing. No more living on a steady diet of fantasy romances and Cinderella tropes. This drama says, “Wake up, we’re adulting now.” Relationships and marriage aren’t social checklist items anymore, and the shift is right there in the writer’s notes. It’s refreshing, it’s real, and it works.
And the OST, phewww someone said that the music director on spectrum with the background music..symphony opera add a classical makjang and Chinglish ballads..it was well collected
With the production quality and the performances, this drama easily deserves an 8.6/10. It could have been an easy 8.8 for me, its short length really worked in its favor, but the side characters just didn’t bring anything memorable to the table. The script was clearly ML-centered, and honestly, I’m not mad about it because his storyline (and his acting) carried the whole drama beautifully.
If you are in the dating era, you are 30+ or have "adulted" enough to know that life isn't a bed of roses, you might find this one of the most challenging romance dramas ever written. It’s a series for those who understand that nothing is as it seems, diving deep into the messy complexities of love, infidelity, and the psychological hurdles of real-world relationships.
The Highlights: The Leads: Wang Ziwen and Liu Yuning deliver incredibly nuanced performances. Their chemistry is grounded and real, rather than just "idol-style" sweet. Despite the their complex backstories, they communicate when need be and they know that they are eachother's last stop.
Vengo Gao (Gao Weiguang): His addition was a masterstroke. He provides the much-needed humor, quirkiness and levity that balances out the show's heavier, grittier themes. Ensemble Storytelling: This isn’t just a vehicle for the main stars. If like me you’re a fan of Liu Yuning or Wang Ziwen, go in with an open mind; the side stories and the characters that bring them to life are just as vital to the plot. Once you get past the initial setup, it truly grows on you.
The Verdict: It’s not for everyone. It’s a slow-burn, sometimes uncomfortable look at how we "test" love and often break it in the process. But if you’re looking for a drama with actual substance that stays with you, this is it. So far I can give it a good 8.6 And 9/10 for Original Creator, Gong Yuanqian
Thank you to the legend who listed this on MDL..I remember looking for it after I finished it.. Definitely one of the best vertical drama ever produced
It's a political romance that luckily kept the romance out..Also it's says 15+ as an appropriate age.. I don't think it was violent or traumatic..I have seen way worse
Imagine us reading a review written 14 years ago..A piece of history for us..thank you I loved it.. just so you know, we no longer have these types of scripts, directors or companies willing to overstep the sensitive work we live in.
On Today's episode of dramas that will not enter my data base 🚫 Am actually happy it wasn't a romance..I guess PSH has been scrolling through Tiktok reels as she always appears at the top of the worse kisser. Thank you for a reliable review
I recommend not picking it up. Yes, the OST is good and the FL is cute but I think it got more and more boring.…
My Happy Ending was a string puller and the FL was sad from the beginning to the end, this girl didn't catch a break from EP 1.. two episodes in felt like someone was slapping you every scen.. I liked the 2ML who turned out to be her savior and the main lead..Lee KiTaek is his name.
Ok.. what I will do, I will put the list with the ones you mentioned and attach my review then you can decide if you want to watch or not.. But I will make a strong suggestion you burry yourself in no 7 cos this drama will take suck you in for 65 episodes..please don't look at the number of the rating..when you finish it you will be asking for 10 more..Yoh don't even know how you reached there..

7. To Be With you Ahhh my sheyla.. If I say a hidden diamond..this is it..I don't want to say alot.. but find my words in the longest review I have ever written.Dont listen to any outside noise..just get your own experience.. https://kisskh.at/profile/Neema57/review/458588

We definitely have the same taste except may e for Noona romance but let's say I have been luck that most of the Noona I pick have MLs a strong head over their shoulders.
I have been building a list where I put underrated Dramas that either ho unnoticed or just don't have the famous faces but for me they turned my drama watching life upside down.. It's a mixture of all genres, countries and ratings..Let me know which ones you haven't watched..I have written reviews for most of them just for the sake..
